Don’t look for any favours from this company, it’s all about money! I bought a CCTV system from them and asked them to upgrade it to a bigger hard drive. They did this and charged me the full price of the bigger hard drive and not the difference between the two. When I asked them why, they said it was to cover the cost of installation and re-testing of the system. Ok I thought, fair enough, but as it turned out, all they did was install the hard drive, a 10 min job, and send it to me untested. They also kept the hard drive they removed!
Anyway when I received the kit and after a few setup issues I found it wasn’t up to my expectations so I asked them if I could return it. They said yes, but it would be subject to a deduction because it had been tried out.
I said ok, fair enough, and I returned it at my own cost by Special Next Day Delivery to ensure it arrived safely.
Royal Mail tried to deliver it twice but couldn’t get a reply so it was returned to me. Now this is a place that is manned every day from 7am to 6pm, so I was informed!
However after I got it back they sent me a label to return it again, this time they got it, it was left in their safe place, so still nobody there to collect it!
However I eventually got my refund with a 20% deduction, and the final selfish act was they even took the £6 postage for the return label that they generated for me!
All in all I am just shy of £100 out of pocket. Quite a hit for a pensioner!

Good and bad, all of our customers experiences matter to us.
Unfortunately, we had no choice but to apply a deduction to your refund, as the NVR had been customised / used and all four cameras had been mounted outside.
As per our returns policy, all of our items come with a 14 day change of mind period as standard.
This allows you the time to test the item and decide whether it is suitable and if not, return it in the same condition as received for a full refund minus return postage. (unless faulty within 30 days)
In this case, as all of the cameras had been mounted outside, they were no longer in a "new and sellable" condition.
I'm really sorry to hear your initial return failed to be delivered, this is why we offer pre paid returns labels to ensure a smooth and timely delivery to our warehouse.
Hopefully we are given the opportunity to better serve you in the future.

Excellent Dome security camera which…
Excellent Dome security camera which has been set up using phone app. The only downside I can see is if you have to do reset as the reset button will be hidden inside the ceiling void.

To avoid cables being hidden away, we recommend one of our waterproof junction boxes, this allows any excess cables including reset to be housed securely for easy access.
One other way to reset the camera is within the settings, accessible via the desktop and mobile applications.
As part of our commitment to continued improvements, most of our newer models have moved the reset button to directly on the camera housing.

Great value cameras!
I ordered a camera for my Home Assistant server - it was shipped and delivered quickly (I really appreciate them using DHL instead of Evri...). The product works well and as advertised and I had no problem in disconnecting it from the internet and having it run locally, which is quite important for a camera :) I didn't have pleasure of contacting the customer support though. The product page had sufficient amount of information so there was no need for me to contact them.

Excellent customer service from Foscam UK
An existing camera had to be replaced after several years and I also needed to solve a problem with Foscam apps which the Chinese HQ could not sort out. Sam at Foscam UK solved the apps problem with an easy solution, saving me long-winded email conversations with (the very willing) support in China and ordering the improved new model was easy and efficient. My advice is: do buy your equipment from Foscam UK where you get support when you need it.

Ordered an item then foscam cancelled…
Ordered an item then foscam cancelled saying they could not find my address on paypal or their order, and if I could re-order the item, went to re-order within 30 mins but the item was then out of stock, quite Co-insidental, so had to order a different unit at twice the price as they knew it was urgent…..

I have been using their cameras for years. They are reliable and more importantly they were used as evidence in a burglary. They are undoubtedly a first class company and their after sales support is second to none. Highly recommend.

Decent camera, but not new?
I think you sent me a camera that has previously been sent to someone else and returned. No bag on the camera seems odd but maybe that some eco reason but the screw fitting connector looked like a screw had been in it previously as it was damaged. You buy a new item you expect a new item.

Order problem resolved quickly.
Due to a minor technical problem my order was delayed by a few days, these things do happen sometimes but Jay from Foscam went over and beyond to resolve it quickly.

Camera no longer responding - firmware update bricked it
Camera no longer responding its dead.
Found one of our camera was no longer viewable/streaming. Looks like an issuer when it updated the firmware.
Contacted support, who suggested a number of ways to reset - all of which we had already tried, and re-tried. Then suggested it may need a firmware reset and gave a download to do so. We tried this - and... nothing.
Foscam then said looks like camera was dead. Aka it had failed on a firmware update and "bricked" the camera.
No offer to get discount on a replacement/further ideas.
Did go and purchase another Foscam (as had been happy with them).
However this one could be setup when wired to a computer, but when mounted where the old one was, did not get a signal enough to reliably stream. Which means the "new" cameras have a lower powered antenna.
Had enough of time wasted, and just returned it. Bought a different make of camera (ring, ring) and it was up and working in 5 minutes. Faster than a foscam... Mounted in same place, and it is working fine, streaming, alerting.
Shame, as Foscam _had_ seemed to be good, but alas now left behind in the market.

Faulty camera
Camera was faulty had to get paypay to refund me foscam do not answer there phones live chat not always working they keep saying they will sort it but they don't very disappointed with them

Ordered an FI9912P camera
Ordered an FI9912P camera. Order form suggested a PoE injector as an option with this camera - which suggested to me that the camera was PoE compatible. The camera is not PoE compatible and so the injector is no use without a splitter. On the plus side I did get a quick response from on line chat who provided a return label and full refund for the injector.
