We’re sorry to hear the Gaia shower filter hasn’t made a noticeable difference for you personally, especially as we know how frustrating ongoing skin and hair concerns can be.

While many customers in hard water areas do notice improvements in dryness, irritation, hair texture, and overall shower water quality, everyone’s skin, hair, and water composition are different. Some customers with sensitive skin have told us filtered shower water helped reduce irritation, however in your case, rosacea is a complex skin condition with many possible triggers, so results can vary greatly from person to person.

We do really appreciate you acknowledging the positive experience you had with ordering, delivery, fitting, and the design of the filter itself.

We’re sorry to hear the Gaia shower filter hasn’t given you the experience you were hoping for so far. Hair can sometimes go through an adjustment period when switching from unfiltered to filtered shower water, particularly in areas with heavy mineral build-up, and some people do notice changes in texture during the first few weeks.

The “waxy” feeling you described can also occasionally happen when there’s existing build-up on the hair reacting differently with filtered water and hair products. Many customers find this settles over time or improves with a clarifying wash and a little longer using the filter.

That said, we completely understand everyone’s hair and water situation is different, and we genuinely appreciate you giving Gaia a try and sharing your experience.

That’s why it’s so amazing to hear you’re now seeing such a noticeable difference in the condition of your hair since using the Gaia shower filter.

The fact your blonde looks brighter instead of brassy, your hair feels thicker and healthier, and you’re even getting compliments on it now is incredible to hear. We know how emotional hair confidence can be after struggling with damage and shedding for a long time, so stories like yours really stay with us.
