I’m a returning customer, and once again GameTraderZero knocked it out of the park. This time I ordered a pair of Joy-Con 2s in Super Famicom shells on January 2, and they absolutely do not disappoint. The final product looks amazing and works flawlessly.

They also included an LED mod courtesy of GameTraderZero, and the attention to detail is incredible. The LEDs match the ABXY color scheme and light up red, yellow, green, and blue. I later learned that each LED had to be individually soldered onto the rail, which really explains the level of craftsmanship in the final build.

For transparency, I received them on March 7, so the turnaround was definitely long. They did communicate that there was a backlog, and the amount of custom work involved in this build makes the wait make a lot more sense. My advice is: if you place an order, go in expecting a longer turnaround and try to be patient. The wait was absolutely worth it for me, and I couldn’t be happier with what I received.

I have ordered from this company twice now, and I have been beyond satisfied with each order. I ordered a steam deck lcd with a new shell and buttons, and I ordered a set of switch joy cons more recently. I use both these pieces of technology religiously. They are just so beautifully made. The joy cons were actually a picture on pinterest made to life, and it actually still amazes me how they were able to create it. They were extremely communicative throughout the entire process, which let me tell you, is a long one. I ordered the joy cons in October and received them late January. Similar thing happened with my steam but I believe it was even longer. This was not something I minded because I understand that the process of changing out the shell of this kind of tech can be a lengthy one, but I understand why others wouldn't want to wait that long. I will say that they do not keep this from you. They make sure that this will take a long time, so you are not kept in the dark. I asked a million questions, and they answered them all swiftly. I recommend if anyone wants custom anything when it comes to tech that this be the place you go. They communicate well with you and they give you amazing quality.

I found these guys on Etsy, had three pieces of equipment worked on by them, all three came out phenomenally. Had tactile buttons installed on my Elite 2 controller, Switch Pro controller, and lastly my Steam Deck.

Even with them being a small shop and building things as they're ordered the turn around time is still great. Mr. Gal Silver kept in touch the whole time, I never once worried about my Deck being in his care, even though it's my prized possession.

I will absolutely be using those guys again, the D-Pad on my Switch 2 Pro controller is crying out for an upgrade 🤣

Seriously can't get over how good the Steam Deck feels now, if you're looking to improve your gear Mr. Silver has you covered.

The controller is fantastic — amazing quality, feels great, and looks perfect!
Shipping took a bit longer than expected, and one of the Hall effect sticks was acting up when it arrived, but Gal and the team stayed in constant contact throughout the whole process and got it resolved. That level of communication is all I could ask for — highly recommend!

I currently have only one order from this brand, but the quality of service provided (both in terms of customer contact than the order itself)
has been such that I am seriously thinking about doing it again with them for services for which I will normally go through a local store. Let me explain.
It was a custom order:
- A Switch Pro controller with the original case replaced by a case in homage to the NES
- The original sticks replaced by Hall effect sticks (TMR)
- The original bumpers and triggers replaced by the same ones in grey colour (matching the colour of the handles)
- All the buttons (bumpers, triggers, ABXY) of the controller replaced by micro-switches
- 4 paddle buttons added to the back of the controller
- All delivered in about ten days (before my birthday)

Apart from a slightly complicated delivery (but received before the deadline) due to the delivery service itself,
I have absolutely nothing to say about the controller itself and especially not about the customer service.
You can imagine that there must have been some adjustments in order to define what could be done,
the price, the processing time etc... Well, believe me, it didn't take long.
If you've ever experienced responsive customer service, you're not ready.
In fact, I think Gal never sleeps... He answers most of the time within a period of half an hour...
at improbable hours... Probably from another dimension.

More seriously, it was really nice to be able to develop such a request in such a short time.
So admittedly, it was a bit of an expensive project but whether in terms of delivery time, follow-up, or quality of service, the service far exceeded my expectations.
My order was better processed through this fully online transaction than at a local specialty store near me.
I think it's a sign that doesn't deceive and for that alone I recommend GTZ to all those who know what they want and think that you are never better served than by yourself.

Here it is the exception that proves the rule.

I'm an old customer and loved their service until now. The last order I placed with them would be my 4th custom (1st = pink joycons, 2nd = purple joycons and 3rd = PS5 pink controller). This order was supposed to be a gift for my husband, not for me btw. I placed the order on November 22nd, 2024, yes you read right: 2024. Back then I got engaged to my now husband and wanted to gift him a custom Xbox series X controller with a World of Tanks design and payed extra for the upgraded non-drift analogue sticks. The months passed and I got a single email telling me the order was running late due to holidays, which I was fine with that. Then the time continued passing and no more emails to know what is the status of the order came. The more time passed the more worried I got, but I still had faith on them due to my positive experience with previous orders and good quality controllers. I sent multiple emails asking for updates or estimated dates and never got an answer. Repeated that for different months and nothing. I waited even until August (now!), hoping I could still gift my husband for his birthday and nothing again. I've been ghosted for good, no follow-ups, no order, no updates, no money back, no tracking number, nothing. That's why I'm here writing this review: I feel disappointed tbh, I lost over 200 USD, my husband never got his gift and I don't know where to order custom controllers anymore. I wanted to order 3 new controllers with different themes (2 PS5 ones with Pompompurin design and a Genshin Impact theme and 1 Xbox series X one with Minecraft design) but guess Gametraderzero simply doesn't work how they used to :(((( Be careful, y'all. They might ghost you too even though you might be a returning customer like me

I was very interested in some of the products and services GTZ offered, and decided I wanted to make a custom order with them. Their reply was very fast! They were very attentive; I wanted a very specific custom order made, and they were happy to oblige. They were also very accommodating, making it easier for me when I had to pay!

Admittedly, the time it took for the order was longer than I expected, but whenever I asked about my order, they were very open and transparent with what was happening.

When the order came back, it was impeccable! If I didn’t know any better, I wouldn’t have known they even did anything!

Over all, I would be very happy to purchase from them again, and would happily recommend this shop to anyone interested!

Outstanding communication, product quality and value!

The experience was made great mainly due to multiple factors, comms, product value and quality.

Comms: Seller responded to all questions I had, I was pestering about HE sticks for Elite series 2 (Xbox) controller and why there weren't any, etc, he gave a good assessment and advised that they can perform this, however they also advised me to take a look at dualsense edge modules as they required less from me (Quote, shipping, etc.).

When I made the order for the dualsense modules, I had to wait quite a bit due to my countries customs (Serbia) not releasing the item for a month or so.

Tested the quality by checking the circularity and responsiveness, for now seems to be precise with a 1% discrepancy.

(The box came with Circ: 2.0% and circ:2.3%, in reality the 2.3% is 3.2%, this can be a small mistake, and is not proving to be an issue for me right now.)

Item is exactly as described very happy with my purchase. I didn’t see any flaws with the case and the Nintendo switch light works great!

this steam deck is perfect for the pastel pink lovers, the colors are soft and pretty to look at and the tech itself works really smoothly. <3 my item took around 8 weeks to arrive and the eta was pretty close to what i was told since purchase. the customer service was great and on it when i asked about tracking or anything else related to my order which was refreshing - overall i totally recommend purchasing a console from their shop if you don't mind the longer wait time but personally, its worth the wait and im just so stoked to play on my new steam deck! ^_^

Ordered custom TMR software calibration enabled Sony Dualsense Edge stick modules from GTZ and it was a great experience.

He answered a lot of my questions which got me comfortable to buy an item. I knew very little about this area - and just wanted to fix the stick drift on my Edge.

And helped get it to my hands using fast shipping.

Will definitely buy from him again.

Ordered a custom ps2 themed dual sense with full click and tmr modules. The controller took awhile, but everytime I reached out I got a realistic up date.

The year before I ordered joycons and a switch pro controller and they're still going strong.

You may have to wait awhile, but the quality is there, and the mouse click is the real deal.

I ordered a set of joycons last October and got the delay email in November saying it'd be another 3 to 4 weeks. They were finally delivered at the beginning of January but there was a problem with one of the shoulder buttons. After contacting him, I sent them back for repair and they were returned to me in February. I haven't had any issues with them since then.

I liked them so much I ordered a pro controller to take on vacation. I was hesitant after the long wait before but he assured me he would have it to me in time for my trip. I am happy to say that he came through and it has arrived just before I'm set to leave. I look forward to showing it off to my family next week.

The products themselves have been great, it's the communication that knocks it down a star. I had constant problems using the chat function on the website. I'm sure several of my messages didn't even go thru so that was annoying. As far as the lead time, if you know it's going to be 3-4 months instead of 4-6 weeks, just say so up front. I would have rather known ahead of ordering that it was going to be a few months as opposed to thinking it'll be a few weeks and then get a vague automated email update pushing the time line back. Just change your FAQ to reflect the realistic time frame please.

My controllers were delayed due to the holidays, however, they were well worth the wait! The controllers look and feel amazing and the clicky button and trigger mods make them perfect for FPS games! Highly recommend!

Had custom "no drift" joy cons made. They started having extreme drift after a few months of light use. I sent them back for repairs months ago and am being ghosted. I've probably sent 10 messages and have gotten no response. Now I'm out of joy cons and over $200.

Seller was very cooperative and responded quickly to all questions and concerns. The order ended up being late due to issues regarding the shell taking longer than expected to arrive. But as a way to make up for it a bonus gift was included in the box and the shipping was upgraded to priority! Controller is very good quality. What makes it even better is that it is compatible with PC and eventually the Switch 2!
