Hanging baskets
I purchased 4 ready planted hanging baskets. They arrived boxed and in great condition due to superb, secure packaging and careful delivery by the Courier. The plants are healthy and colourful and will soon be cascading over the baskets. Well done Gardening Direct

Although the plants were well wrapped…
Although the plants were well wrapped and still alive when they arrived, despite the heat, unfortunately the courier didn't handle the box carefully and several plants and soil had fallen out of the pots. Hopefully they will recover. 25/6/2026

Ordered 10 lavender plants early June
Ordered 10 lavender plants early June, unfortunately when they arrived the four plants at the bottom of the polythene bag were dry, withered and a bit lifeless, sadly I was unable to revive them.
We’ve used your company quite often in the last few years and have always been happy with the quality and value for money, but recently we’ve noticed a decline in the quality of the plants received, with the cost of things nowadays we will have to keep our options open for the best value for money.

The plants were in a shocking state
The plants were in a shocking state, more compost bin ready than garden ready. I was very sad as I have always had superb plants in the past. In GD defence, they did send a full refund, that is the only reason I give one star. I was not able to use one single plant …and was snookered for my follow on summer display…

My original order arrived badly damaged. The replacement one took a while to arrive and was too late to plant before the hot weather. I hope they survive until I can plant them.
