Great service. No hassle automatic reimbursement

Always great service, approvals to reimbursement…..flawless!

Problem when we select a new provider and they won’t pay out the previous bills. That’s frustrating.

Garner is designed and marketed as being simple, but to me (and especially to my wife, who handles the bill-paying in our home) Garner seems rather nebulous and uncertain.

It feels risky to pay medical bills with our regular credit card rather than our FSA card, and hope everything goes through and comes back to us 4-6 weeks later in reimbursements. We had trouble at the beginning of the year and had to contact the concierge about every expense. The FSA is not fun either, but at least it has an immediate and clear process.

Another issue is that when my wife was referred to a specialist or sent for imaging, she had no idea who she would see or who would perform the procedure. It was difficult to put them on the Care Team before we knew who they were.

I will say, to their credit, the concierge team seems like it's made up of real people and has been responsive. I appreciate that.

This is a very cumbersome website. It takes a very long time to get reimbursements. I would NOT recommend this to future employers.

I had surgery in February and Garner is new for my company, tried to add my doctor beforehand, wasn't available. Contacted Garner post-surgery and all was handled well, got reimbursement a few weeks later.

As long as you use the recommended doctors everything is covered

Once I figured out how to put the information into the app it was very easy to do. Customer service responded in a timely manner and helped with any issues. Payment was easy to receive.

The deposits went right into my account. I don't have to do anything except use the preferred doctors and add them to my care team.

My experience with Garner Health has been disappointing. While the concept is appealing, the process has been much more complicated than expected.

One of my biggest frustrations is that if an approved physician refers me to another provider, that provider must be added to my care team before the service is performed. If that step is missed—even though the referral came from an approved doctor—the reimbursement or credit toward my deductible is denied. That feels like an unnecessary technicality that places the burden on the patient rather than supporting continuity of care.

The reimbursement process is also cumbersome. It isn’t easy to initiate a reimbursement request, and even after meeting my deductible, I can’t clearly see what expenses are eligible for reimbursement or where I stand. Greater transparency would make the program much easier to use.

I will say that the Garner Health concierge team has been helpful whenever I’ve contacted them. Unfortunately, needing to involve a concierge to resolve routine issues adds another layer of hassle that shouldn’t be necessary.

Overall, Garner Health has potential, but the administrative complexity and lack of transparency have made my experience more frustrating than beneficial.

Refused to add my surgeon even though he is the chair of the department at Tampa General and a leader in his field.

It takes too long for the re-imbursement up to 8 weeks which is excessive. It should not take more than 4 weeks with today’s technology

This company is doing great. I receive helpful information on a consistent basis as well my refund in a timely manner.

My family Dr is approved for my insurance but not for Gardner I have been seeing him for the last 4 years. I don’t want your Gardner approved Dr due to I would have to start over with him learning about my body problems and my health issues.

Garner has become my go-to when looking for a top doctor in any new specialty I need. They are proactive in communication and fast if I have a question or concern.

Have not received any reimbursement from Garner despite the fact that I have over $5000 in medical debt that I am paying back.

Really interesting concept, but the healthcare industry as a whole is totally screwed up. This is a good start, but it is just a very small bandage to a gaping bloody wound.
