I recently purchased a vintage Rolex Datejust (1975), and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The watch arrived exactly as described and was in excellent condition for its age. Honestly even better than expected. It feels wonderfully light on the wrist and wears beautifully.
The entire process was smooth and professional, and the quality of the piece speaks for itself. It’s clear that care and attention went into both the selection and presentation of the watch. I've been on the hunt for a birth year watch and have always been drawn to the traditional vibe and look of the datejust. I've kept my eye out for one and always fell short of papers, which I really wanted to solidify my true birth year as opposed to just a reference year range.
I was scrolling through YouTube shorts one day and Gauthier watches came up and Spencer going over the watch and then I heard the year and box and papers. I was hooked! I thought long and hard about it and had it in my cart for a couple days before I finally decided to go for it.
Spencer made the experience memorable and gave a true customer first concierge experience. But with confidence as the communication was clear and on point. I'll keep Gauthier watches on my short list for when I'm ready for my next vintage watch!
