I purchased a helmet from Gear Rider and then two short face shields for that helmet. Last week, one of the parts that holds the face shield in place was damaged and no longer worked. I messaged Gear Rider's customer service to see if they sell those specific parts as a replacement. They responded quickly and offered to send me a new set of parts at no charge. They arrived quickly and work perfectly. Great customer service, fast response, and willingness to help keep customers satisfied out on the road. I definitely recommend them and would use them again for future purchases.

I've had my helmet for about a year and a half and out of any helmet ive owned its hand down the best one. I was involved in a minor crash and the visor broke and caused minor damage to the helmet so I reached out to them and within a day i heard back from them and they are sending me a new helmet for free.

I like how snug it fits. The measurements are pretty spot on and the buckle clip makes taking it off incredibly easy. I wish it had come with at least 1 replacement visor of a different color

After a month waiting for the helmet I ordered. It was delivered to an entirely different address. They took a picture of the house they delivered to, wasn't even close to what my house looks like. Had me take pictures of my front door. Then said they would send another from China no less! Have now been waiting 2 weeks check tracking still in China! I will NEVER order anything from this crap of a company again. Tried calling them cannot get a Live person only AI crap. I really think this is a scam company!!

Worst do not use them. I ordered a helmet it cones from China 10 days so far still in China plus I told them to change the helmet to a different one they forgot now I am.getting a helmet I dont want and have no idea how much longer its gonna take. I told them to cancel they said they cant I have to wait for it to come then return it. Then wait till they get it back to get a refund. Do not use buy from Amazon or something you can get it ASAP and return it no problem. Bought the one I wanted o. There for $10 less and got it in 2 days. Even better i had to pay to ship the helmet back to them. $27 for shipping so I lost money

This company, if your have something wrong with it they will ship you another helmet but it will come from China. I order a helmet and came defected so they send another one and it also was defected. Also these helmet are poor quality, cheaply made and it fill like it. So anyone that read this review please be aware that you giving your hard earn money away so DO NOT ODER ANYTHING FROM Gear Rider

Ordered the carbon R7 in forged carbon with the purple visor and accents. Spent $300, waited about 3 weeks and i finally got it yesterday. The helmet that showed up wasn’t even close to the one that I ordered So I called the customer support line and that guy said take pictures of everything and send it to their support email and he also said I wouldn’t have to worry about shipping anything back and that I’d get a replacement or full refund. I sent the pictures and order info to their email and they responded that I’d now have to ship the wrong helmet back and then they would ship the correct one to me. Still currently dealing with this to figure out what can be done as of June 3rd 2026 because I told them I’ll ship it back when they fix their mistake first considering I didn’t make the mistake to begin with

Company is Crap… definitely not approved and the shipping times are beyond extreme. Most importantly the helmet is not sized appropriately and it is definitely not dot officially approved. I’m requesting a refund and disputing with my credit card company Beyond disappointed.

To start let’s get this out that way as this is a genuine review, i’m not a bot or a paid reviewer, gear riders helmet possibly has saved my life from a major accident now let’s start from the beginning , i was a beginner rider once looking for an affordable helmet but also wanting quality and for it to look cool, that’s when i kept seeing gear riders ads on instagram. I ordered the cool multi use helmet K4 modular and it was comfortable , I got into a small accident with the helmet but i did land on my head first and I was fully okay. So they have this policy where if you have an accident they replace it no cost one time which they did no questions asked for me and had it at my door, their customer support team is typically very responsive and very quickly and helpful. After using that helmet for a while I got into another accident, not so small, its hard to admit but i lost control of the bike going 65mph on the freeway and smacked the rear end of a pickup truck, i then slid for about 20-30 feet with the bike landing on me, but throughout the whole accident, i sustained no head injuries, the helmet stayed on, and as a modular helmet it stayed closed and never opened until i manually did, and I NEVER even lost conscious as the helmet protected my head of such impact. After going to the ER i even got a CT scan alongside all my other x-rays and the doctors were surprised to tell me no damage occurred to my brain or head not even such as a concussion. Thank you gear rider and for everybody reading the reviews gear rider is a great first option to meet you affordability and quality and trust needs, especially if you what your life to be easy with a very good customer support team who don’t leave you hanging.

Bought one of the r7 helmets and it did an amazing job when I wrecked. Ive wrecked wearing other helmets and my head definitely felt it. Wrecking with the r7 helmet I felt perfectly fine when it came to my head. Lost the bike doing above 80 and the helmet took a heavy beating and it still held up great and protected me when I needed it the most. Will be buying another one again!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one matters.

I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident when my tire blew at speed and I was thrown onto the road. It was violent and life-changing. I ended up with 10 broken ribs, an ankle shattered into over 40 pieces, internal injuries, and plenty of road rash.

But my head? Not a single injury.

That’s because of this helmet.

There’s no doubt in my mind that this helmet saved my life. In an accident this severe, things could have gone very differently. The protection it provided held up exactly when it mattered most.

You never really know how good your gear is until you need it—and I hope you never do—but I’m living proof that investing in a quality helmet is non-negotiable.

If you ride, don’t cut corners on safety. This helmet did its job, and because of that, I’m still here to tell the story.

I contacted the company which has no live CS agents for phone calls and via email, followed the instructions that were provided multiple times and sent multiple photos. The company will not replace the nonfunctioning system!

Update- the malfunctioning equipment was replaced.

I ordered the wrong size helmet. They sent me out the right size inserts at no cost to me! Will definitely buy from this company again!

The K4 carbon fiber look is nice. Good fitment. Came with the blue tooth speakers already installed in the helmet, as well as the mic for calls or comm with other riders. Super smooth and quiet in the wind! Bluetooth connects right away. Very nice helmet.

Their advertising is VERY unclear. Their main page website show the helmet I got withOUT any embleming on it whatsoever. I got the helmet just to find their ugly emblem on front & back of helmet. Additionally, the smoked visor has a terrible foggy film on it that make visibility really bad. Not a, safe to wear while riding helmet. Customer "service" didn't care that they use a super shady, bait & switch advertising tactic. These emblems CANNOT be taken off & they do not pay for shipping on returns. Scammy, shady "company" that I wish I had not found. Their not worthy of anyone's purchase.
Once I told them I'll dispute the charge with my bank, they gave me a return label. BUYER BE WARE

Ordered a helmet not realizing firstly it would come all the way from china so it took FOREVER to arrive after paying a large amount for shipping. Received the helmet with the sticky pads for the Bluetooth device already peeled and messed up, the helmet is sized completely too big and cannot be used to ride safely. A complete waste of time and money. Their return process is a joke and now wants me to wait to find out if I’m even approved for a return and will have to pay to ship it back to china when this is no fault of my own. DO NOT ORDER FROM GEAR RIDER.

I just received my helmet with the upgraded Bluetooth i tell all the people around the world that this helmet is truly really comfortable i have to wear glasses all the time to see and it is still comfortable no issue with helmet what so ever I would recommend this helmet company to everyone around the world i promise you won't be disappointed at all my name is Kevin from the United States.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Do not buy from this smoke and mirrors company. From their AI generated voice answering their calls to their misleading, fine printed written product description to their shipping. ALL LIES. I recently purchased their buy 2-K1 helmets offer including Bluetooth communication and they don’t even pair helmet to helmet. Why sell a 2 pack that wouldn’t communicate back and forth and now they want me to spend another $200 for new Bluetooth units. Not going to happen.
Next, I placed my order in December of 2025 and thought it would arrive shortly after the 1st of January 2026. NOPE, they wouldn’t ever tell me that it was coming directly from China and didn’t arrive till mid February 2026. When I’d call in, I’d only get their automated DAVE voice stating they couldn’t provide me a tracking date at all. When I asked to cancel, they said I couldn’t because it was already ordered even though they couldn’t give me a delivery date.
I emailed them multiple times asking the same, they replied with the same answer and discontinued responding to my emails. ALL FICTITIOUS LIES AND DECEPTION! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Update. 4/3/2026. I have received the correct communication units so as to talk with my wife while we are riding at the same time now and will be setting them up now. Ty

After reading other negative reviews, I attempted to cancel the order. Response was helmet was already shipped and couldn't be canceled. The helmet arrived and was not the item purchased. I want a full refund to the original payment method. Please provide the prepaid shipping label for the return.

Why can’t I talk to a person instead you talk to a dam machine and then they don’t let you know what’s going on with your order all it tells me it could be 4to 5 different thing why my order hasn’t shipped they can’t at least contact there customers and let them know exactly what’s going on with peoples orders and they told me not to order from here but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt I should of listened to the people that told me to stay away it my last time I order from them ever again bad communication with there customers that wasn’t there hard earned money on this same site
