German with Laura Avaliações

This is a great course that I'd recommend for anyone who has been lost on German grammar. I've done Babbel, Chatterbug and Duolingo and have liked all of them but while they were great for vocabulary, I wasn't getting what I needed on grammar. This course filled that empty spot. I especially appreciated the way the material was organized, and I loved the presentation style. It just flowed the way my brain works. I am planning on continuing on with the second Foundations class.

Laura has come up with a really great way of learning German grammar, a much easier and unique method to traditional learning methods!

Very good, thorough course delivered with skill and a pleasant demeanour. Recommended highly.

I spoke German as a child and have returned as an adult to reacquaint myself with my first language. I looked at many different courses and chose German Foundations to supplement Duolingo, and I’m very glad I did. Duolingo is fun (I’m looking at you, Falstaff), and does a good job with the basics and vocabulary. However, unless you upgrade to Max from Premium, there is very little explanation of why sentences are constructed a certain way. I obtained many of the “whys” from Laura’s course. She is a fabulous teacher, and I highly recommend German Foundations One to anyone seeking a better understanding of this fascinating but complex language. When I can afford to do so, I will be registering for German Foundations Two.

I have been very imoressed with Laura's learning programme. She has made the understanding of German grammer so much clearer!. I've been following Duolingo for a couple of years and was stuck! I just didn't understand the grammer and the big differences with english grammer, The foundation course really makes this clear. Her aide memoirs are very useful and easy to follow. I have to put the work in now to consolidate the information she has given me and then I shall definitely follow her nexr course. I think it has been worth every penny. I'd advise you to follow her free introductory course to see how her step by step approach is easy to follow and really works. You can revisit modules as often as you like if you have not fully grasped the concepts at first.

Great introductory course.

What a great course for learning German. I have been struggling with understanding how German sentence structure works and Laura goes over all of this with you.

My daughter was learning German using Rosetta Stone. And her homeschool program has tests each unit that seems to get harder and harder. The Rosetta Stone we used was mainly pictures and you just guess what they are doing with the pictures and there's no explanations whatsoever especially in grammar. It was so frustrating. Laura's German grammar course really helped us and it answered a lot of our questions.

Amazing program, easy to understand and covers everything I have been asking that no one could answer.

Each section is carefully planned and made bitesize for ease of understanding without overwhelming.

I have been on Duolingo for several years; my vocabulary is very good but my detail is not. So far (2 weeks) I have found that repetition is so beneficial. Laura is a wonderful teacher. Give German with Laura a try. It's well worth it.

Laura helped me to see patterns and make sense of a lot of things in German. The explanations were clear and the repetitive practice was very helpful.
It would have been helpful to have some of the keys points from each lesson available in note form (otherwise, when you want to go back and review some of the concepts, you have to watch the whole video again.

Laura's truly unique way of breaking down and organising the overwhelming (for me...) complexity of German grammar into a much simpler system/framework was the boost I needed to finally learn the language after years of just winging it. I fully recommend giving it a try!

Looked at many sources for German online , books and German Colleagues but found Laura’s German Grammar course and teaching aids to be the best. Her approach gives it structure and logic and for me this is the best way for me to learn. I am dyslexic and struggled with my native English so this is brilliant for me 🤩🤩

Laura’s tools and presentation are really the difference for me. The Gender Hierarchy took my comprehension of German from memorization to learning the language. Understanding the mono and poly syllables and the plural pathways (where I’m at now) are giving me a solid understanding and I’ve noticed when I read German, it makes much more sense. I’m excited and ready for more.

Laura is a phenomenal teacher. She is able to clearly and succinctly explain grammar concepts that are so important to learning any language. Thanks to Foundations 1, I feel prepared to start speaking simple German, but also very motivated to start studying Foundations 2!

I'm loving this course. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn German.

Laura is wonderful at Explaining things. I feel excited about whats ahead, always looking forward to watching the next online video to see what else I can learn about German. Thanks Laura.

Before this course, I never truly understood essential topics like noun genders or the case endings for "der" and "ein" words. Despite trying many free resources, I always felt confused—until I found Laura’s German Fundamentals Course.

Laura has a magical way of teaching that makes everything finally click. She shares unique hints and tricks that I’ve never seen explained elsewhere, breaking down complex topics like the case system and declension patterns into simple, manageable steps.

I really recommend this course for anyone starting to learn Deutsch. It’s an absolute game-changer!

Laura is so great at explaining concepts in an engaging manner. It's the best foreign language instruction I've ever had!

Good for complete beginners that need a structured approach.
