Our experience was great, the staff in the shop were so helpful, especially Rod Findlay. The fitters were fast and professional and the aftercare was great. Very happy with our new carpet.

The salesman Robert Turner was more than helpful and very patient. A really nice lad and a pleasure to deal with. However have not given 5 stars as gillies policy appears to be to charge £89.00 for delivery of my new mattress and another £89.00 for removal of my old one. I would have thought that given i am spending over £2k that delivery would be free and disposal a more reasonable cost.. In keeping with other reputable retailers. Service great but hidden costs disappointing...

I recently bought a bed from Gillies and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From my initial enquiries, through to choosing and purchasing the bed, and finally the delivery, everything went smoothly.

I’m sorry I’ve forgotten the name of the lovely lady who helped me choose the bed, but she was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and clearly knew her stuff when it came to the different fabrics, bed construction, bases and mattresses. Her advice was really helpful and made choosing the right bed much easier.

When the delivery team, Charlie and Mark, arrived with my new bed, they were both very friendly, polite and professional. I live on the third floor with no lift, so they did a fantastic job getting the bed upstairs carefully and without any fuss. They also gave me some useful advice about looking after the bed, which I really appreciated.

Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Excellent customer service and a really helpful team. I would highly recommend Gillies to anyone looking for a new bed.

We have recently ordered new furniture from the Inverness store and have nothing but praise for the extremely helpful service from both Aaron in the bed department and Kerri in the furniture department, their excellent advice, with no pressure at all, enabling us to make informed decisions, followed by excellent delivery timing and information and finally the very helpful and careful delivery team - 110% all round!

I visited Gillies in Aberdeen needing help to choose replacement furniture and arrange uplift of some existing pieces. What could have been quite a stressful experience turned into a genuinely enjoyable one thanks to Emma.

She was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and unbelievably patient — particularly as I changed my mind and altered my order several times! Nothing was ever too much trouble and she helped me work through all the options until I was happy with my choices.

We had plenty of laughs along the way and even shared a wee emotional moment, which says something about how comfortable and at ease she made me feel.

It is rare these days to find someone who combines excellent customer service with genuine warmth and kindness. Gillies are very lucky to have Emma.

We wandered into Gillies Aberdeen looking for a new mattress to replace our old one. Having looked around, we were met by Robert (Turner) who took the time to explain to us what we needed to know. I told him that I probably wanted a Hypnos one and he invited us to try the various Hypnos mattresses that were laid out in the shop. I chose one (which happened to be their most popular one) and had it delivered by Gillies a few days later. Very happy with with the mattress and the overall experience in Gillies (thanks Robert). Delivery was faultless too.

Excellent service in the Aberdeen store from Emma who was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions and measuring while we decided on some new living room furniture. We will certainly be back to Gillies for our next furniture purchase.
