Wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered..godaro London yet the parcel came from China the dress I bought for £39.95 I have just found on another site for £6.95 the material isn't the best either

I agree with these reviews. It's a scam. I now have two dresses that don't fit and I can't return. I'm going to report them to trading standards although I'm not sure if they can do anything.

Item not bad though not worth amount paid. That aside, be careful when it comes to returns. I could find nothing on the website or on policies telling me returns go to China. This costs more. They offered to send another size for £12 and keep the original item as well!!!! Not doing that. I check for foreign returns as I've been caught before. No more ordering from these on line companies for me. That's it. Give this site a wide berth.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! As previous reviewers have pointed out, it’s a SCAM! Very poor quality clothing and extremely ill-fitting. When I asked for a refund ‘Senna’ first offered me another dress in the ‘correct size’ for an extra £12; when I refused I was offered 30% refund to save me having to spend time returning the item. When I refused that offer I was given an address in China to return the item to. I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered from them. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY!

Absolute con. Don't use this company. As stated by the other reviews the items took 6 weeks to arrive, were poor quality and sizes were not as described. When I tried to return the items I was offered a 10%, then a 20%, then a 30% bribe from "Senna" to not bother. When I insisted on returning the items I was provided with an address in China and told to cover the costs of return postage. Don't use them.

The item eventually arrived after approx 3 weeks wait. It is not as advertised and is made out of a sort of flimsy nylon with stitching that looks like it won't last two minutes. It's a cheap Chinese rip off of. No way of getting a refund as first you have to send it back to China at your own expense!

Just received my parcel today 09-05-25 after waiting some 5-6 weeks absolute rubbish x2 dresses contacted them by email asking for a refund and return address they ignored it and offered 30% refund and keep the dresses ya wouldnt even wear them to bed so to speak sent me an address for returns in china at point of order from Facebook they looked as if they were uk based ....I have an returns address in england stated on the package looked up they are registered with companies house so gonna alert them I havent finished with them yet I want my Money back Godaro !!!!!!! pack of theives

They claim on web site delivery in ten days mine took three weeks. This is because they ship from China no doubt using sweat shop labour. Nowhere on their website do they mention this in-fact as they trade as Godaro London it implies they are London based. The dress I received was cheap and not the least bit like photograph. It was supposed to be a size 12/14 but my size 8/10 granddaughter couldn’t get it on
The fun really started when requesting a refund. At first they offered me the chance to reorder the same dress in larger size retaining the original item and charging me an additional £12.00
After insisting I wanted a refund they offered me 30% off. Eventually they told me I could return dress for full refund to an address in CHINA. Nowhere does it state items have to be returned to China
The postage would be more than the original price
Absolute scam artists.
PLEASE DONT GET CAUGHT OUT BY THEM

Same as reviews below received the dress after 3 weeks didn’t fit poor quality they offered 30% refund and keep the dress still waiting for them to email return address not London based do not order from this website I should of read the views before ordering

Ordered from this website believing it to UK based. It's not! Only when you complete check out, and get your confirmation email, do you realise that your order is being shipped from overseas. They also state seamless, no hassle returns, this is another mis truth, you have to return to an address in China

My dresses arrived after 3 weeks and look nothing like the picture. The fabric is cheap and sizing is inaccurate. I wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing. They make it impossible for you to return items. The website is deceiving as items arrive in plastic bags, not boxes. It is definitely not London based. A complete con

I ordered a dress from this company but it took weeks and weeks to arrive, despite the company claiming to be based in London. I had some very conciliatory emails from a "Senna". The website seems to be blocked now. The item when it did arrive had come from overseas and was very poor quality fabric.

Clever marketing picture with the 3 women suggesting that this is a london based company I read these reviews too late so also caught by this scam. Item still hasn't arrived after 4 weeks. Numerous emails saying it is on its way but no delivery, and yes, from China, nothing to do with London

Con merchants !! Took weeks to arrive . Quality very poor nothing like the pictures return to Hong Kong at own expense.

Do not buy from this company the dresses are very poor quality and look nothing like the pictures. I am trying to get a refund and only getting offered a 30% refund. Please save your money and I wish I had seen the reviews before ordering.

This is a Chinese company- don't be taken in! I have identified a few like this. Including Luxe and Luna London, Ellrae and Charly London. I'm trying to get them stopped with your help sharing my FB page called Luxe and Luna is a Scam.

Ordered a dress described as “Luxury Floral Dress” on 12 April and only received it on 28 April.
The dress quality is definitely not “luxury” and additionally as it wouldn’t fit me, I sent an email to ask the address to return the item.
Visible Scam starts here!!! They start by offering 10% refund if you keep the item, then 20%, then 30%… with my consistent refusal they provide an address apparently in Hong Kong! When challenging it, their excuse is that they work with international partners for 30% of their goods although being a UK registered company. I asked about the company registry in UK and no answer to that. Instead they offered 40% refund. Important to note that half way through the email exchange I received an email in Czech.
Do not buy anything from Godaro London!!

Warning this company claim to be Godaro London yet all the clothes come from a sweat shop in China.
They make it too hard to return goods which are faulty or arrived weeks late for the occasion you wanted the clothes for! They give you an address in Fujian Province in China and claim its in Hong Kong, which it certainly is not. They try to offer you a discount, firstly 10% then 20%, rather than a full refund claiming to be better for the environment if you don’t have to send items back. It will cost me almost as much to send back the package than to buy it but the clothes are very poor quality and despite buying two sizes neither fit properly ! DO NOT BUY FROM GODARO they’re rubbish, ordered on the 12th April but only arrived on the 29th April so was very late but website claims they have stock and you think they’re based in London which they are not.
Happy to take your money, send you rubbish products and make it so hard to get your refund.
