Grace was wonderful with moving and setting up household items for us. The boys were wonderful and friendly, offered to sort things in the house as directed. It was quick delivery. Great job Sankit, Parikshit and Yug.

Used to guys to relocate from Melbourne to Gold Coast agreed on prices, and on the day of moving in they called my wife asking for another $800, what a joke

Didn't take much on a move from QLD to Ireland having had bad experiences with removalists in the past but this was by far the worst experience. They managed to lose the one box that contained all my photographs and an item my partner has treasured for many years. Their response after 4 weeks of chasing and few responses, sorry we can't find it, here's the link to the claim line. Devastated.

Update 02/08/23: still no satisfactory update as to where my belongings are.

Just to rub salt in my wounds the top level insurance provided by Grace has declared my sentimental items valueless and not covered by the insurance, this was the quickest update I received throughout this miserable experience

I moved a one bedroom flat in December 2022 to London (UK). Grace charges a premium - around 30% more than competitors, but with higher levels of service. This was true for the Australian end of the operations, but not for the UK - where the delivery is subcontracted to another firm - Doree Bonner in Kent.

The service level was excellent until the payment of the invoice, then it dropped off, with delays via email up to two days for basic questions. I had no problems with the pickup, and the staff were generally good, and efficient during the packing up of the apartment.

The main problems began with the delivery overseas, specifically the insurance and the subcontracted delivery in the UK.

Firstly, the delivery - in a word, terrible.
The staff at Doree Bonner had tried to inflate the cost of the delivery and change the contract. There were clear attempts to add to the bill with services that were covered in the initial agreement, when I showed them the contract and pricing - this was ignored. There was a vague delivery time two weeks after the container was unloaded from the ship, but this kept changing for several days. I was told if there were delays in unloading the ship, I would be asked to pay for the storage due to their lack of staff.
The staff eventually delivered the goods into the loading dock of the apartment building, and while I did get a small refund, the service was poor. The initial contract was to deliver to the residence, and remove and unpack the goods.
Several boxes (and their contents) were damaged from either bieng dropped, or having heavy items placed on top of them.

The insurance.
The Easycover Essentials is a poor insurance product, and terrible value. There are numerous exclusions and even when there is clear negligence or damage caused by the delivery - the insurance claim will be denied.
Avoid.
The "Ultimate" cover may have avoided this problem, but given the reviews of the underwriter and my personal experience of the claim - AJ Gallagher/AXA has a bias to reject claims.

In short, the extra money paid for services is not justified with Grace.

Moved interstate recently.
Jacinta from Melbourne sales was awesome. Answered all my queries and had a reasonable quote done up quickly. Amended my inventory list a few times and this was no hassle for her at all.
Having researched other moving companies, I chose to go with Grace as they do not use third parties and the risk of my belongings going missing was slim. Plus the price was cheaper than other quotes.
Movers in Melbourne and Perth were all efficient and my stuff was packed up and delivered on the date as confirmed.
A lot of care was taken as there was no broken furniture or damage at all, and all belongings were accounted for.
Would definitely use Grace again as the communication on the Melbourne and Perth side was excellent.
