Great cameras, easy to set up with all the helpful guides and videos that you get. Awesome!

they seem to work with big birds but not all
i found that putting some seeds on the ground help as it must be too much trouble to try to get seeds out of the feeders so they leave them alone
bit pricy as i now have 4 of them at a cost of £100 then you have the stand for the feeders to go on to so works out not cheap at all
but I'm mad and love watching the birds when I'm at home helps me relax

Having had 2 Bird boxes installed with, Cameras,1 over the past 4yrs and having had the 'highs' of 3 lots of chick's hatch & fledge, along with a 'low' when the parents abandoned 10 healthy chick's last year.
We thought we would try one of the relatively 'new' sideview boxes.
Have to say they are extremely well made, if a little 'over substantial' given the size & thickness of the wood. We had Bluetits 'overnighting' from early September through to Christmas. In February this year Bluetits started taking an interest in the new 'Real Estate' box. All was going well until a Sparrow got in & killed the Bluetit, needless to say none go near that box any longer. There is also virtually no int erest in our other 2 boxes.
On checking we found the Access hole in the new 'Side View' box was found to be 32mm & not the normal 25mm for Bluetits.
We have since bought & fitted 25mm Access Plates but think the 'damage is done' for this year.
Tip - if/when buying this type of box, check the Access hole size before installing.

Good service

Just purchased another POE camera from Green Feathers and it’s superb. There is a very slight hitch with the cam but they are sorting it immediately no problem. Good quality gear and first class customer service.

Had read previous reviews on delays on delivery, so a bit concerned but went ahaed with the order, with a possible 3 day delivery. In fact it was delivered in 2 days, with email confirmation of date and time - what more could you want!

I needed a replacement daytime uv light for my birdbox and Greenfeathers were very efficient in getting one delivered quickly.

When these cameras work ... great! When they don't work, don't think you're going to get any support. Questions asked via their website are answered by AI. If you persist ... really persist ... you may eventually reach a person. My camera was 'dodgy' from day one. It would work for a day or two, then stop. Eventually I was invited to return it to Green Feathers. They told me via email that it was faulty and they couldn't even turn it on. So I wasn't going mad! A replacement? Discount on another camera? Not likely! The computer says 'NO'. Beware. Mostly you're dealing with a computer.

Thanks for trying remotely to get generation 1 camera working. Hope to use it soon.

Quick delivery

Excellent communication very helpful and quick on a question I had about the camera connecting to the internet via ethernet ring main extenders. Have bought from Green Feathers several times would highly recommend.
