The intinerary was incorrect. The host was 22 and had never been on ANY tour before. The walls were paper thin, no sleep in 6 days. No variety, just five days of slugging snow.Do your homework. Rip off.

I have just returned from Finland where I have had the most amazing week in Hossa National Park, snow-shoeing by day, and having saunas and ice dips in the evening. And one fantastic sighting of the Northern Lights on our last night.
It has been an anmazing experience. Our Gutsy Girls host Evie was wonderful - kind , caring and attentive throughout the week. Our Finnish host and guide Maria was outstanding - she was patient, thoughtful, very knowledgeable about all aspects of our trip - wildlife, history, the region etc and also a highly experienced guide who clearly loves her job.
I think it is important to add that, at almost 70, I was the oldest on the trip. If you are a more mature woman please do not be put off - I felt totally accepted and part of the group. It was challenging but incredibly rewarding. A fabulous 70th Birthday present!

I had such a wonderful trip from start to finish. Everything was incredibly well organised, which made it easy to relax and fully enjoy the experience. The food was excellent throughout, and every meal felt thoughtfully planned and high quality.

Lilly was a fantastic host—warm, attentive, and always making sure everyone felt comfortable and included. The group size was just right, striking a perfect balance between social and personal space, and it was lovely to spend time with such a great group of like-minded women.

All of the activities were fun, engaging, and exactly as advertised, which really added to the overall experience. I would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a refreshing long weekend away in great company.

Wow, what an incredible adventure in Sweden learning how to ski! As a first-timer with Gutsy Girls, my expectations were high—and they were totally exceeded. From the quiet slopes and patient instructors (shoutout to Styrbjörn and Hasir!) to the delicious mountains of food and cozy vibes, everything was perfect. A huge thanks to Nikki for being such a supportive host and to the amazing group of women who made the week so special. I’m already trying to decide which trip to book next!

A really well organised trip with fantastic guides and an amazing host Lilly. The guides made sure the activities for each day were well planned around the changable Norweigan weather. Amazing food and accomadation and the sauna was a great end to the day after the days activities. This trip exceeded my expectations in so many ways and the fantastic group of women on the trip made it extra special. Lilly, our host was incredible, really inspiring and encouraging.

Thank you Gutsy Girls for a wonderful trip. Kath was a brilliant host, and it we had a great group. The Venabu hotel was perfect.

Great trip. Our gutsy girls guide, Kath was fantastic. She really looked after us , and was super patient and kind. Our ski guide Ursula was amazing, a great teacher and totally in control. The other activities , yoga, ice dip/sleigh ride , were the icing on the cake, and all either in the hotel or just outside. The hotel was perfect, with lots of places to sit and chill, great location, great views. The food was better than most places in London ( and service also ) .I would totally recommend, really felt looked after by our amazing host Kath , and by the brilliant team at the hotel
Lastly , the group members were all lovely, lucky to meet such a nice and interesting group of people. Highly recommend, thanks to Kath and the team at gutsy girls.

The whole trip was so well organised, the host made everything very easy and nothing was too much bother. It was so good to meet an inspiring group of like minded women and had such a fun time whilst learning how to cross country ski! I certainly wouldn't have thought I would do 16km on skis at the beginning of it! I laughed a lot too. Thank you Gutsy Girls!

Such a great few days on the 4 day Beginners Cross Country ski and yoga trip to Venabu in Norway. The group was amazing, Kath our host made the week so fun and so relaxing. I was nervous about going away with a group I hadn't met before but it worked out so well. I achieved so much more cross country skiing than I thought I would. Our guide Ursula was a great teacher, really encouraging and really patient. I'd definitely come to another Gutsy Girls trip, and back to Venabu. The Horse Drawn Sleigh and the Ice Dip were fantastic bonusses. Please run a 4 Day Improvers course! X

Just back from my second GG trip, this time to Norway for kayaking/hiking/snowshoeing. Loved my trip, our host Lily was so welcoming and friendly, and our guides Sebastian and Rasmus very knowledgable and led our activities well. Gutsy Girls put on great experiences and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting a holiday with a difference!

First trip with Gutsy Girls XC Skiing in Norway. Was impressed with the communication from GG before the trip and the whole booking process. The trip itself was brilliant. Amazing hotel, incredible food, good skiing guides and all activities really well organised. What made the week so special though was the other women in the group who were inspiring, fun and great to spend time with. Our GG guide Martha was brilliant as well, working hard to make sure our week was the best it could be, but who was completely part of the group and brought amazing energy. Would definitely recommend both GG and host Martha. Will be looking at other trips for this year!

Just finished my first Gutsy Girls holiday back country skiing in Sweden. Our skiing guides were amazing, our Gutsy Girls host brought a positive energy, and I felt challenged in many ways. The food was wonderful and our cabin accommodations were cozy.

Amazing experience in Iceland with multiple activities; cross-country skiing, horse riding, snowshoeing and a lagoon. Very well organised, great group size, great location and beginner friendly. Everyone in the group, the host, guides and staff were all very friendly and approachable. Would highly recommend and I would definitely be booking another GG trip.

Just done my second Gutsy Girls trip to Svalbard and can’t recommend enough. Everything was well organised to get the most out of the time we had. Our host was amazing and arranged alternative activities when the weather was bad and went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of vegan food options. One of the best trips I’ve done with genuinely awe inspiring moments. Gutsy girls is great way as a solo traveller to meet other likeminded people and both trips I’ve done have been so much fun.

This was my first solo trip so was way outside my comfort zone… but the experience has been so so worth it! Helen my host was kind friendly inclusive and wanted to ensure I was taken care of every step of the way, and the rest of my group were the best group anyone could ask for, everyone was supportive and we had soo soo many laughs. Each activity was well planned, timed and organised, with sufficient breaks and the guides were knowledgeable and friendly and again very much wanted to make the experience enjoyable for us all. My key takeaway was that I got to meet the most intelligent personality, a lovely husky named Princess Leia as part of the dog sledding experience, never met a dog with such grace and elegance. The cabin was cozy, the food was sooo delicious and nutritious and every step of the way the people in Grano were warm and welcoming which made the experience so much more enjoyable and memorable.

An incredible trip to Norway for beginning XC skiing. March 1-8. The size of the group was perfect, the skiing was excellent, the hotel could not have been better, the meals were beyond expectations, all the additional activities included in the trip kept every day full and very exciting and different. Our host Martha was a great support and a joy to have with us on the trip. A truly stellar experience!!

Just come back from the Norway Winter multi-activity Adventure four night break and my soul has been completely topped up. Mixture of adventure and sisterhood just fantastic. A great group of women, fantastic guides and host, amazing location and experiences - loved every minute - can't wait to book next year!

Back country skiing in Finland - amazing experience and very physical. You def need to be fit for this trip. if you don’t have ski experience it is doable. Be prepared to be slumming it for the week. It’s def not for the faint hearted. Only downside is the size of sleeping cabins. Not enough beds for everyone was disappointing. Would I do another trip? Hell yes!

I had a fantastic experience on the multi winter adventure in Sweden. I’d been thinking about booking a gutsy girl holiday for a while and took the plunge. No regrets - it was a brilliantly thought out few days filled with lots of adventures, laughs and relaxing moments. Our Host, Helen, was amazing and was always checking in. Our guides were equally fantastic. The setting was perfect and the lodge didn’t disappoint - they really thought through with every little detail. I would highly recommend booking if you are looking for a few days of winter adventure and want to try out lots of different activities.

I have done two trips with Gutsy Girls and I have loved both of them. The first trip was a paddleboarding for beginners trip in Croatia and the second trip was a beginner’s ski holiday in Sweden and both trips were awesome!

The trips are extremely well organised, from the suggested flights, transfers, accommodation and food (catering for intolerances and allergies), everything is planned so you don’t have to think at all. Equally, it’s all flexible and you can opt in or out of the activities so if you are tired and need to rest, there’s no pressure and if you are full of beans, you can do extra!

All the activities are done with guides or instructors and as a beginner, you feel really well looked after. If you want to push yourself, you can and if you need a bit of extra support, that’s catered for too. There is a Gutsy Girls host who looks after us on the trip (as well as the guides/instructors in the country you’re visiting) so you are really well looked after. Nikki was our host in Sweden and she was brilliant at checking in and sorting out any food intolerances or adapting plans to suit everyone. She really made sure everyone was included and took some great videos of us skiing too!

I love, love, love learning to do new things with Gutsy Girls, the women who sign up to these holidays are from all walks of life and different ages, and there are always fascinating conversations to be had and a lot (I mean a LOT) of laughter!

It’s great value for money as the amount of activities packed in, the food (huge portion sizes too!) and accommodation, transfers etc are all dealt with and a really high standard too! Not to mention, someone else does all the planning and you just need to show up and have a good time! 100% recommend!
