Very detailed information and a willingness and ability to customize our trip

A trip to Africa has been on my list for decades, so selecting the best tour operator to bring my vision to life was paramount. We had a fantastic experience with Yellow Zebra from start to finish. The lodges were all excellent, and the organisation throughout the trip was seamless. Every transfer and connection was perfectly arranged, meaning we never had to worry about logistics and could just relax and enjoy the experience. It really made the whole trip feel effortless.

The staff and the food was outrageous and our our guide was above and beyond. The people were so welcome in the camps were great every detail as far as transport. Everything was amazing.

We recently booked an African safari with Sebastian at Yellow Zebra and can very comfortably highly recommend both (and in fact already have).

Sebastian has a wealth of knowledge and experience, including personal guiding experience. From our first conversation it was evident that he cares about his customers’ experience, as well as about Africa itself. He took the time to learn and understand our preferences and then provided several very thoughtful bespoke options based on our needs. He was readily available to answer all of my questions as we worked through the decision process. I am confident we made the right choice based on his advice.

Yellow zebra itself is an impressive company. They offer great support while on safari as well as provide additional comfort regarding what, for us, was a large financial decision. While our adventure has yet to begin, they were the only provider that specifically and proactively addressed these questions.

Since booking we have been provided with an operations team contact (Jo) who has been incredibly helpful and responsive.

I feel so blessed to have found Eleanor whom was recommended by a colleague, after a more famous high street travel agent, had come up with a travel itinerary that didnt work for us. Eleanor quickly grasped our needs and wants and was super quick at putting together an amazing trip for us. She was super responsive, efficient, warm and friendly and put up with some crazy questions from my partner! I love that the team at Yellow Zebra have all lived or worked in Africa and Eleanor had personal experience of many of the places that we will be staying in. Easy booking process too.

YellowZebra is great to work with. They cover you from very beginning to the end. This is our 3rd trip booked with them! They are very flexible in meeting your requests and provide lots of options. We are in our 70s and travelled to Africa and safaris and have always felt very safe and taken care of.

Even though we are a continent away, communications with the Yellow Zebra team was quick. I requested a couple of video connections and the team was able to accommodate the times requested. Yellow Zebra worked with our budget and still provided us with upgraded accommodations and experiences.

In booking a trip to South Africa, I spoke to someone who was born and raised in South Africa, lived in the cities I wanted to visit, worked at safaris, so had first hand knowledge to assist with planning. Aidan was very knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, full of guidance, super resourceful, timely in getting back to us with quotes. He had first hand knowledge of promotional opportunities to take advantage of to secure a vacation with our budget. Highly recommend!

All of the accommodations were so beautiful and the staff in every place made us feel so welcome. The food everywhere was so fresh and creative. There were always plenty of choices. There was flexibility so we could change plans if we wanted to. The safari rides were amazing and our guides were so professional and fun to be with. They were really dedicated to making sure we saw lots of animals!

Yellow Zebra covered everything from the first phone call. They asked about our goals, preferences, and budget and then gave us several options to choose from. Every question we had was answered. Once we were traveling, they were in touch every step of the way and everything worked incredibly well. The knowledge and support of the whole team made the experience truly unforgettable. All of the lodging selected was perfect, the guides were incredible, and our safari was life-changing. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

From initial consultation to arriving home this holiday was faultless..from two amazing locations,two exceptional guides and incredible lodges with attentive staff.As an amateur photographer the photo opportunities were second to none and fun internal bush flights.Amazing adventure!

The guides were excellent. The food not so good. The timetable at the camps was hectic,I hardly had time to get much breakfast. Tours Africa were good. There was a water problem at Tena Tena. I was ill with a bad throat infection while infection most of the time so didn’t enjoy it as much as I could.

The booking process was easy and Catherine the safari specialist was very helpful in the planning process.

Very reliable and pleasant transfers and excellent accomodations made for worry-free travel.
