Silver Plate, NOT Silver
I purchased a silver earring from Halo’s, the description says that it’s silver, but after a few months, you can clearly see the base metal (looks to be copper) showing through the sliver plate.
I contacted Halo’s through their chat function and didn’t hear anything back. Very disappointing, and very misleading. IT WAS NOT AS ADVERTISED.
Shame, because I really liked the design.
EDITED FOR UPDATE:
I believe that review sites like this only work if people are fair and honest, so I’m adding an update.
As you can see, Halo’s got in touch with me after receiving this review (but only after receiving it).
After some back & forth communications, they promised to send out a replacement which shouldn’t tarnish, I was told it was coming from a different supplier, although they didn’t mention whether it was solid silver, but the bag it came in has a sticker placed on it which states it is. Short of cutting it in half (which I’m not prepared to do) I have no way of knowing, I guess time will tell.
I’ve upgraded the review from a one-star to a three-star, it would have been four except no action was taken until I turned to trustpilot.
I’m pleased they resolved my problem.

Absolutely outstanding customer service all questions answered all links to products provided including links to items that weren’t on sale at the time of purchasing so I felt extra special. Super fast delivery as if superman had flown my items in! Especially when items came from the other side of the world! Items purchased excellent quality and workmanship packed well will definitely be shopping here again great prices compared to other sites selling similar products. 10/10 in my opinion.

Order placed - Tracking Number not Recognised - Poor Customer Service
I placed an order on 11/06, chased on 18/06 and within 5 mins got a shipping notice with a tracking number. This tracking number is not recognised. I have written to customer service on many occasions with no response what so ever.

Good afternoon Ms Dawson, I have checked the inbox and can see you sent us a message on enquiring about delivery on the 24th of June. I apologise that we did not respond to your email on time, we try to answer all emails within 48hrs. During busy periods with low staff numbers the response time can increase slightly. In regards to your order I can see that your package is currently with evri and we are awaiting an update. Delivery is scheduled to be in the next 1-3 days. This order was shipped from our international warehouse. Tracking number usually become live once the package has cleared uk customs. I will contact Evri personally to get an update tomorrow morning and update you on the email address we have for you on file.

The chain I bought has turned completely copper. What a joke.
So you buy a silver item and it turns completely brass/copper. Yeah that sounds like fake and fraud to me.

Well the actual ring is lovely and fit's perfect, but it took a while to be delivered, and Evri ruined the experience by posting my parcel through the wrong address, so took a day to find out who had it,halo were very helpful in sending pictures of delivery,to help me locate it eventually.
