A true gem above Lugano
A true gem above Lugano!
The location in the historic village of Brè is unique, and the art exhibitions throughout the village make it a great open-air museum. The view of Lake Lugano is beautiful, and nature is right on your doorstep. The apartment leaves nothing to be desired: great amenities and very comfortable beds. A car is an advantage, but you are also well-connected on foot and by public transport. We will definitely come back!

Happy Rentals (lago maggiore) non fornisce ai turisti istruzioni adeguate e nemmeno i sacchetti per smaltire i rifiuti secondo le regole comunali, creando enormi problemi tra i turisti e gli altri residenti del residence
In data 23.08 ho ricevuto una risposta da Happy Rentals che smentisce quello che ho scritto (mentre lo posso dimostrare) e con l’invito a contattarli; lo farei volentieri se ci fosse un recapito di una sede centrale… anche sul loro sito non c’è alcun modo di contattarli. Si trovano solo i contatti dell’agenzia locale che gestisce il lago maggiore, agenzia che ci ha presi in giro per anni e che quindi è inutile contattare.

Ci dispiace leggere questa recensione, ma riteniamo importante chiarire alcuni aspetti.
Non abbiamo trovato alcuna prenotazione a nome suo presso una nostra proprietà su lago Maggiore. Per questo motivo, non possiamo verificare direttamente le circostanze descritte.
Per quanto riguarda la gestione dei rifiuti, negli appartamenti lasciamo indicazioni chiare sulle modalità di smaltimento previste dal Comune e dal residence. Trattandosi inoltre di appartamenti self-catering, forniamo un kit di benvenuto iniziale; gli eventuali ulteriori materiali di consumo, inclusi i sacchetti per la spazzatura, sono normalmente a carico dell’ospite, come avviene per questo tipo di sistemazione.
Se lei è un residente o un vicino della struttura e si è trovato a dover affrontare problemi causati da un nostro ospite, lo invitiamo a contattarci direttamente fornendoci maggiori dettagli sulla situazione. Saremo naturalmente disponibili a verificare quanto accaduto con la massima attenzione e, se necessario, a intervenire con l’ospite.
Ci teniamo a mantenere buoni rapporti con tutti i residenti e a collaborare per evitare qualsiasi disagio.

The place is clean and neat ,greenery…
The place is clean and neat ,greenery is well taken care of, villas in good condition, beach is amazing including the taverna. Staff is nice. The only downside is the Internet, installing the WiFi routers on top of villas is a bad idea, inside the villa no Internet you have to sit on the terrace to do your job. In a remote area like that and with weak mobile signal I think it is a problem to be reviewed. Apart that, very nice and relaxing holidays. Will be back!

The apartment is very clean and safe, and it has two bathrooms, which is good. However, it is a bit far from the city center, and the key collection and check-out process is inconvenient, as the keys are picked up from an office located a short distance from the accommodation.

Regarding the location, the apartment is situated outside the immediate city centre, shown on the map of the portal where you booked.

The view is fantastic
The view is fantastic. You can see the sea even from the bed and the kitchen area, not just from the terrace. It was a very nice welcome, we got muffins and mineral water. There was everything we could need. The sea was across the road and you could go swimming right away, no need to go to the beach. There is a hot and cold shower at the gate. There is plenty of space on the terrace. The space inside is also nice and spacious, well furnished.

Super Lage
Super Lage, nettes Örtchen, alles fussläufig erreichbar. Leider kein öffentlicher Strand, das war aber auch das einzige Manko. Aber mit Auto kein Problem, so kann man jeden Tag einen anderen ausprobieren.

Unser Aufenthalt war toll
Unser Aufenthalt war toll, dass Haus war sauber. Ablauf in der Dusche lief nicht gut ab, es kam aber jemand und behob es schnell. Die Dachterasse ist sehr schön und die Lage auch. Das Meer ist keine 5 Minuten entfernt und auch in der gleichen Strasse befinden sich Bars, Foccaceria und Metzger.
Dass es keinen Parkplatz gibt und zu wenig Stühle für Anzahl Betten hat, ist das einzige was uns nicht so gefallen hat.
Ich würde es weiterempfehlen.

Fruktansvärd upplevelse tyvärr. Vi fick information om incheckning via whats app. Då det stod att om man checkade in sent skulle kan hämta nyckeln på kontoret, annars på boendet frågade jag för säkerhets skull. Fick ett ganska otrevligt svar att som det stod i informationen skulle nyckeln hämtas på boendet. Tänkte inte mer på det och det fick lite bilder och filmer med info om incheckning.
När vi kom fram sent på kvällen fungerade inte nyckelboxen. Vi ringde, skrev och ringde igen. Ingen svarade. Det fanns inga lediga hotell någonstans så vi fick sova med våra tre barn utomhus.
8.30 på morgonen fick vi tag på Happy rentals så vi kunde få rätt kod. Ingen ursäkt.
Jag kontaktade kontoret som svarade att vi fått koden. Jag fick lägga en dag på att bevisa att vi inte fått det. Det lokala kontoret svarade inte på meddelanden utan ändrade bara inställningarna i whats app så meddelandena skulle raderas efter 24 timmar istället för 90 dagar.
Efter två dagar fick vi besked om att vi skulle få tillbaka pengarna för den natt vi inte hade möjlighet att utnyttja boendet. Ingen ersättning för kränkning, sveda och värk trots att vi har rätt till det enligt fransk lag. De tycker inte det är något problem att vi fick sova ute, utan tillgång till badrum, vatten eller trygghet, med tre barn.
Naturligtvis blev hela dagen efter förstörd då vi dels var helt slut och dels fick lägga den på att överbevisa Happy rentals som hävdade att vi gjort fel.

We are truly sorry for what happened upon your arrival, particularly as you were travelling with three children. We fully understand how distressing it must have been to arrive in the middle of the night and not be able to access the apartment.
Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication regarding the check-in information and, as a result, the access code you had was not the correct one. We sincerely regret this. We also acknowledge that, because you arrived very late at night, our local manager did not answer the calls immediately. This was clearly not the level of assistance we aim to provide our guests.
We would, however, like to clarify that we did take responsibility for the situation. After the issue was resolved, we refunded €460 in total: €260 corresponding to the affected night and an additional €200 as a goodwill gesture. We appreciate that this cannot undo the very unpleasant experience of that night, but it was our sincere attempt to acknowledge the inconvenience caused.
We are particularly sorry that you felt that we did not take the situation seriously or that we blamed you for what happened. That was not our intention. The circumstances were investigated because we needed to establish where the communication had failed, but we understand that this may have been frustrating for you at the time.
We regret that your experience was so negative and sincerely apologize for the distress and inconvenience caused to you and your family.

L'appartement est magnifique
L'appartement est magnifique, décoré avec goût et spacieux. Rien ne manque, il y a même un petit cadeau de bienvenue. L'emplacement est agréable dans le parc des thermes ( avec un ascenseur pour aller à Saint Gervais) et proche de la gare. Attention, L'appartement est au troisième étage sans ascenseur , pour certaines personnes cela peut être un inconvénient. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le séjour

Ogólnie ok, ale zachęcam właścicieli do wymiany patelni i garnków na nowe bo te obecne nie nadają się do użytkowania. Sztućców też nie ma wystarczająco. Nie było czajnika elektrycznego do zagotowania wody. Kontakty elektryczne tylko dla ładowarek do telefonów, ładowarki do laptopa już nie podłączy się bo wejścia są wąskie.
W obiekcie wszystko słychać, co wieczór było słychać sąsiada nad nami jak przesuwa meble, żeby chyba rozłożyć łóżko. W łazience było słychać sąsiadów za ścianą jak dyskutują.
Z pozytywów: klima w całym mieszkaniu, w miarę duże pokoje, rodzina 4 osobowa spokojnie się pomieści. Blisko do plaży i blisko do pysznej restauracji.

Thank you also for your specific comments regarding the kitchen equipment and electrical sockets. We will pass these on to the owners so that they can check the condition of the pots, pans and cutlery, and consider adding an electric kettle to the kit.
As for the noise from the neighbours, the apartment is situated in a block, so unfortunately some noise from neighbouring apartments may be audible, and we are not always able to eliminate it.
