Novel protein meals for allergy prone pups
Our miniature labradoodle SnoopDogg, has severe food intolerance and has been on a novel protein diet since he was a puppy. Until we discovered Happy Dog UK he had lived on a diet of Venison, wild boar and pheasant and goose, supplemented with insect based kibble.
Happy Dog provides a much more diverse menu. Snoop devours everything we put in front of him.

Good for a sensitive stomach
Despite the fact that my dog will eat anything, including things he shouldn’t he has a sensitive stomach and I have used Happy Dog for years. Now he is on the senior recipe and as ever it suits him fine.

im really happy with happy dog, and so is my boston terrier. the food i order for him arrives really quickly, its packaged with very little plastic and the cans are able to be recycled. i order the goat meat wet food and it has been fantastic after giving up on feeding raw food. i also like that i will occasionally be given quite substantial discount codes. the customer service is great too, emails are responded to very quickly. something small was missing from one order, i sent an email to enquire and the missing item was mailed out with no problems.

My whoof developed an intolerance to her usual dog food. I tried everything but her digestion wasn't happy!
Happy Dog was a game changer for me. Now my whoof has nice firm healthy poops!!!

Fast delivery no waiting for days
After ordering you receive your order so quickly, which i think is wonderful, my French bulldog has allergies so i chose mini Africa, he’s not overly taken with the smell of the kibble, so i decided to purchase the wet food to go with it, he licks his bowl clean now, and isn’t scratching so much, however i may change the kibble, i am trying the horse at the moment, he’s been eating this food since July 24th, it’s only a month…. We are happy at the moment !!

It sounds like you’ve found a really good combination for him so far.
Mini Africa uses ostrich as the animal protein, making it a useful novel protein option for dogs with food sensitivities, and adding the wet food clearly seems to have made mealtimes much more appealing for him. It’s also encouraging that his scratching has already reduced.
A month is still relatively early when you’re assessing a new diet, so hopefully you continue to see improvements. Horse is another novel protein option and can be worth trying if you decide to change the kibble.

Excellent service with Happy Dog. Very speedy delivery. My dog needed a novel single protein food after his elimination diet was completed and he loves his Happy Dog Montana kibble, Montana canned meat and the Montana treats. So far he is tolerating them really well. Really grateful to have found such a great product that is delivered so quickly.
