Harris Farm Lane Cove – Outstanding customer service from Zeron
I've been a loyal Harris Farm Lane Cove customer for years, but a recent experience with a team member named Zeron moved me to write this review.
I was rushing to get to my daughter's school musical and had grabbed a beautiful bunch of roses with coloured baby's breath. The flowers had been stored in water and the bottom half had no wrapping. This was a real problem — we were giving them to one of the leads in the show, who wouldn't come off stage until 9pm. It was only 5:45pm, meaning the flowers needed to survive in water for more than three hours before they'd even be handed over. The in-store florist had already left for the day.
Zeron stepped in immediately. He sourced a freezer bag from the fruit section, added water to keep the stems fresh, wrapped them in tissue paper, secured everything with a rubber band, then finished it off with proper florist paper and a beautiful tie. Clever, resourceful and done with such warmth.
We made it to the show on time and the flowers were stunning when presented after the performance. That's entirely down to Zeron's quick thinking and genuine care. Harris Farm is lucky to have him. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tough Pork
I bought crumbed pork schnitzel today, I was so disappointed the pork was gristly & tough. Won’t be buying again, waste of money.
Rancid meat
We bought loads of meat from the butchers and once again it was all rancid by the next day. We won't be shopping here again.
Disgusting.
Mouldy and expired items
I received a cake that had visible mould on it, and the expiry date on the label had been cut in half. From what my family and I could see on the remaining part of the tag, it appeared to be expired by about 20 days, 20 DAYS!!!. How is it possible that mouldy and expired products are being sold, and with altered expiry labels? I have stomach issues and need to be extremely careful with what I eat, and a mouldy product is obviously a health risk. I have always trusted Harris Farm to provide fresh, high-quality food, but this experience has made me reconsider shopping with them again.

Full eye fillet was the worst piece of meat I have ever bought. Paid almost $50 and ended up throwing out about half of it. Total gristle and fat. What was left was horrible. No guest we had over ate their piece.
Good selection but overpriced
I like shopping here. Good selection but overpriced
Shopped this week at Harris Farm…
Shopped this week at Harris Farm Markets, St Ives, I was charged for uncut steak $38.95 .. twice.
Also in same shop charged $17.00 for Lavazza Gusto coffee, price on shelf $10.49. Had to return next day for correction and refund. This is not uncommon in this store.
Do not shop here at Harris Farm Albury
Been a former employee of Harris Farm I found this place very dirty and disgusting. The back of store where customers don’t see filth, with flies around and managers smoking. Management don’t care about the staff or customers. Plus the most disrespectful thing that they are open on Good Friday and Anzac Day which is slap to the face of my late Pop who fought in the war.
Overpriced for average quality and service
Multiple times the pre packaged meats have been out of date. Exorbitant prices. Twice I've had items put through the cashier incorrectly. Would like to support a smaller business but just going to stick with Woolworths now.
Harris Farm used to be good
Harris Farm used to be good but now is worse than Woolworths and Coles. Prices have skyrocketed, they keep moving everthing around for some unknown reason so one can't find anything, And to top it off, they are now getting rid of the checkout people. Shame on Harris Farm!
Rose bay store
Told cashier to please use plenty brown bags as they overfill the bags and they break.
The cashier placed only a watermelon and one MUTTI pasta sauce in the brown bag.
It broke outside the store.
Luckily Waverley Council garbos were at the time there emptying bins and could assist my husband with clean up. We would have hated anyone to slip in the sauce.
We returned to the store and the manager and staff were totally disinterested blaming US!
Get rid of or replace your bags …. They are not fit for purpose and upskill management.
Cashier was excellent
Thieves
I have decided to stop shopping with Harris Farm due to repeated poor experiences, particularly at the Boronia Park and Pennant Hills stores.
The final straw came today when I discovered mould on spinach fritters I purchased just two days before their expiry date. I emailed customer service to request a refund and explained that I would no longer be visiting Harris Farm stores. However, the response I received from Jane was dismissive and unhelpful, instructing me to visit the store for a refund (despite me saying I would never visit their stores again, and living 30 minutes drive from Boronia Park).
Additionally, the staff at Boronia Park consistently fail to meet basic standards of customer service. They are unhelpful and unfriendly, often standing around without offering assistance when customers need it. On multiple occasions, I have been served by Flora, who has been consistently rude and unprofessional.
Harris Farm’s attitude towards its customers is disappointing and reflects a lack of care. The refusal to give a refund for food I cannot eat is thievery. This has eroded my trust in your stores and services.
We disappeared into a Labrynth.
Got into the shop and had the most difficult experience finding items. Two Factors. A bizarre shelf layout; arranged in little cul de sacs. Not a straight aisle in the place. Staff who had no idea where things where either. Three staff had to collaborate to find nutritional yeast. It was not with other shelf yeast and moreover was hidden behind a pillar. Two of the three staff, did not know, whether the shop carried the item or even what it was.
We go because we want products not carried by local supermarkets. Okay. We haven't been for a while and it was crowded, poorly lit and as mentioned, had the most bizarre shelf arrangement.
Check out was slow. As ever, pricey! Over $60 for 6 items.
Harris Farm consistently overcharge at…
Harris Farm consistently overcharge at the checkout. Every time we do a big shop there at least one item has been incorrectly - and ALWAYS - overcharged.
Note - never an under charge!
Their excuse is old computer system/haven’t updated the prices yet.
It’s too frequent to be accidental.
Online orders never arrive complete
Online orders never arrive complete - items missing (and no notification as such), incorrect items (normal bread provided instead of gluten free bread) and simple items that are always in stock eg pumpkin not replaced with another type of pumpkin despite having preferences set to substitute. If you ask the question of can they deliver the missing items, the answer is no - it requires a new order
Worst pre-cooked Pizzas ever
Worst pre-cooked Pizzas ever, whatever you do don't buy anything pre-made from this place.

1) Beware discounted items. Items on the shelf with a discount label, when you go to pay at the checkout, the discount is rarely applied, and you're charged full price. The excuse given is that the discount label hadn't been removed from a previous sale. This is a recurring issue.
2) Items advertised on the Harris Farm website are not in stock or have differing prices to the ones labelled in store.
3) Long queues at the checkout. There is no self-service and only two or three checkout operators at most during peak shopping hours. Other times there is only a single person at the checkout.
4) Rude customer service. You're either ignored because they're too busy or your query is too time-consuming to answer. Many of the staff appear to be not native English speakers, so communications is a hit-and-miss affair.
5) Fruit and vegetables that go mouldy long before their Use By dates. On one occasion, I spotted and reported to staff that there were two snails sliming across the floor in the fruit and vegetables section. The staff member said he would get someone to "clean up" but for the entire time I was in the store, I never saw anyone remove the snails.
Having tried out Harris Farm for a few weeks, I will no longer shop there.

Hi everyone when you pay for special price for your item vegetable or fruit have to check because I been pay 2 time say special but come out charged full price first time I not checking dockets when home I look at receipt charge full amount . Harris Farms Randwick - bad home delivery service
Due to injuries, I have had to rely on Harris Farms for delivery and boy, have they been a nightmare. Literally every single order the last 2 years has items forgotten, wrong items sent, expired/bad quality and 5 times in a row, the store did not ring up the Uber for delivery. On top of that, no one at the stores pick up the phone EVER and ALL their customer service is in the Phillipines so the customer service is shocking and resolves anything. Shopping in-store is okay, but I am too injured to do that consistently and I do not drive so I have to carry heavy items to ring an Uber which aggravates my injuries further. Harris Farms - do better.
