We had the smoked Chicken breasts for Friday evenings tea and they were to die for. Delivery has always been spot on.

This company supply the best chickens you can buy online.
The staff are so friendly and helpful.
It is a pleasure to deal with them.
They deserve a 5 star status.

Rooster delivered when it was supposed to be delivered. Packaged very well.
Took about half an hour longer to cook than suggested. Also, by cooking it breast side down for the first half of the cooking time we found when turning it over that all the skin from the breast had torn off. So had to cover it with foil to stop it from drying out for the rest of the cooking time. All that said it was delicious meat.

I cook Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve so we can relax and eat leftovers on Christmas Day so we have just finished our Christmas meal.

I ordered the Rooster and I was hesitant about roasting it as everything I have read indicates that Rooster can be tough. I was toying with the idea of breaking it down and cooking it in cider but boy am I glad I trusted the instructions and the company and roasted it according to their instructions!

It was huge and it was beautiful and moist. It tasted absolutely divine with the cider, mustard cream sauce I made for it and there wasn’t much spare fat. I can only imagine it is due to the rearing and the fact that it had been game hung before it arrived.

No problems with delivery and they left it in my safe place as instructed.

My picky eating son in law loved it as well as my foodie son, it was an all round crowd pleaser. This has been the best Christmas meal we’ve had in years and no real fussing or faff with the cooking, just follow the instructions and whack it in the oven!

Our chicken delivery today was utterly appalling! - DPD considered it was absolutely fine to leave the box on the doorstep with no ring of the doorbell and no other indication it had been delivered!!!! - this seems to be the norm these days - just dump the package on the doorstep and run! - we had no idea what time the bird was delivered. On contacting the company all I received was the usual ‘I can only apologise and pass that on to DPD’ - in other words what do you want us to do about it? - TAKE RESPONSIBILITY! - you decide to use DPD as your courier service so offer some form of compensation for the inadequate service !!!! - based on this dreadful delivery we will go elsewhere in future!

Absolutely the best chickens money can buy and in perfect condition and beautifully packaged. My only gripe is the use of polystyrene and so much of it in the box….
