Unreasonable return policy. I was gifted a Catan Pirates expansion board game & I had bought in Nov the same game for my kids for Christmas present. I only discovered this duplication after Christmas obviously. My game is complete, unopened, pristine condition even in original shipping box. I requested that I be able to return this unopened game & purchase an extension for this same game.

Quick Catan tutorial Catan games comes in expansion (added complexity to base game made for up to 4 players. If you have 5-6 players you require an additional extension game)

Their answer was no after 7 days.

Ordered three Squishmallows and Hello Kitty came in dirty. They issued me a refund right away and apologized and told me I could still keep her. I will order from them again

Ordered bunch Boardgames from this store. Saw some people complain about their shipping coming in damaged.

So I decided to pickup. Was handed a pre-packaged paper bag home. Opened and half of my boardgames were worn and dented and bruised.

We emailed back and forth a few times doe them to ultimately say it's cosmetic damage so they won't exchange.

But why are they selling cosmetic damaged items as new? And not labeling it as such.

Horrible experience with prismatic evolutions from these ppl. I bought my product back in October when they didn’t have a restriction of how much you could buy and of course at a cheaper price.

Today they refunded most of my order so they could resell it at 150$. I bought 40 boxes and they left me out with 10… claiming that was their policy. I spoke with a representative 2 weeks ago on the phone and he said that my 40 boxes will be fulfilled.

Horrible people that don’t appreciate their customers. I asked them to refund all my future orders as well as I don’t recommend them for being shady.

Amazing experience shopping here, there’s lots of great deals and was able to find the items I was looking for cheaper than ANYWHERE else. Speaking on some other reviews here as I saw quite a few talking about this: obviously not everything will be on sale or have all items always below all other competitors, they’d go out of business! I wouldn’t pay too much attention to those reviews and take a look for yourself on the site. I would highly recommend checking out this store for all your hobby needs!

I placed a large order during their Black Friday sale, their prices changed over night during their own sale, I had to fight for a refund for the difference and was only given store credit. I also paid for upgraded 2-3 day delivery, and I'm still waiting 2 weeks later. They have poor customer service and hide behind their anti-customer policies. I regret giving this company my business. I'll stick to my local hobby stores in the future.

I asked my wife for Wolverine hobby boxes as a Christmas present. They were advertised at $157 but ended up being $210 when she went from basket to check out with no clear explanation as to why it was more expensive. I brought this to the company's attention and they addressed and resolved the issue quickly reimbursing the difference. It's great to see customer service like this as it is very uncommon these days.

I ordered something on their website and there was a problem with not receiving an order number, but I had been charged for it. I thought I had lost my order and my money. I emailed the support line and they were fantastic with helping me out. They found my order and sent me a new confirmation that it was on the way. Very friendly and easy to reach out to. I have been a customer of Hobbiesville since 2021 for all of my Pokémon and One Piece trading cards. Their excellent customer services, impeccable response times, quick shipping time, securing products, and vast array of products with very competitive prices keeps me, my family, and friends coming back. This is a truly a place to be in the TCG space; Pokémon to Yu-Gi-Oh, and Magic the Gathering to Games Workshop. They have a massive assortment of sports cards, board games, and collectable figures. Bait and switch pricing and non stop email. I never gave them any of my information or agreed to sign up for any newsletters. I visited their site for a breif moment. Afterwards I receive non stop emails telling me they see I am looking at other items and I should buy from them. Their cookies are very invasive. They will not stop harassing me. in 24hours I have received 7 emails from them. Even after unsubscribing I cannot get them to stop harassing me

The company has been very responsive, proactive and flexible regarding mail order products affected by the strike. No one likes delays and this is not their fault and they are working to making it right without intervention on my part. Much appreciated

I had a disappointing experience with customer support. My package was held up at the airport because Hobbiesville failed to include the required customs invoice. Unfortunately, I had to resolve the issue on my own, which was frustrating and time-consuming. Due to this lack of attention to detail, I do not plan to order from this shop again.

I purchased sleeved Pokémon booster packs, Lorcana binder, sleeves and a booster box of the newest set on November 8th. I also paid for quick shipping on the items in stock, while the items that we're pre-ordered became available, which at that point then they would ship to me. Owning an e-commerce business in Canada I understand the issues with shipping via Canada Post however, I was not notified my order would have delays until I contacted them (they used UPS not Canada Post to ship so this shouldn't be an issue anyways). I also requested if my items weren't being shipped separately, that I be refunded for the extra shipping which they did no problem. It is now November 18th, my items are yet to be sent out, tracking has notified me that the label has been created but that is the extent of the process so far. The estimated shipping date was November 15th (1-3 days), which we are past now. Not only has it not been shipped, it hasn't been processed. Assuming that it will take the 1-3 days once shipping has begun, this is a 13 day turnaround to receive my product. This is the second time buying from Hobbiesville but the first time that I have been left disappointed by the services. If you know you are going to experience issues and delays, please inform customers prior to, or at the minimum, after the purchase as a courtesy of good business. I have no intent to ruin/tarnish reputation of Hobbiesville, they sell good products. My goal is to share my struggles as a customer and provide feedback to help improve the business.
