good value for money
the propagator covers are a little flimsy but are fine for the price. The base has raised areas to provide drainage and small pots - 2" -won't sit on them properly.

I am from Accrington and only new to…
I am from Accrington and only new to growing I origanly went to the Burnley store who was brilliant unfortunately the Burnley store closed 😞 so that made my new local store 35 miles away 😞 because of there great products a prices it made it worth my while going to store I ordered online and got 10% discount when I arrived it was a brilliant great well stocked store and all the staff was really helpful and knowledgeable also they had some good in-store offers on so worth the visit thank you 👍

Brilliant service in a troubled…
Brilliant service in a troubled situation, is the best way to describe my dealing with Holland Horticulture.
I’m a photographer and I bought an item that I thought would be ideal for a shoot, paid for the item to be delivered to a studio then found the studio owner died that evening and the studio closed the very next day. Extremely unusual situation but thanks to Raima, we got the item and superb communication throughout.
A genuine thank you for being a superb company!

Timely communications and quick delivery.
The product was the perlagrow lava rock 30L. The weight was not shown. I was told it was about 25kg, but i believe it to be more 15-22.5kg, going by “bulk density mass volume calculator” available online.
Bulk density of lava rock is between 0.5 - 0.75 g/cm3, advertised volume 30L, with that, one can work out mass in kg.
For an idea of how good value it was here is a list of competitors
BnQ £3.83 p/kg
Homebase 2.25 p/kg
Holland Horticulture 1.72 - 1.15 p/kg
The diy stores just sold small boxes of the stuff, however.
