Very happy with my purchase!
Hooked yarn is not for everybody, it takes some skill to make something that turns out good.

That being said, the customer service is great!
I lost my English copy of a pattern.
Portuguese is not exactly my strong suit, feels more like Chinese 😆.
No problem at all!
Even though the order was several months old, they mailed me the English version stat!
They added that extra help was just a message away.
This is how it should be!

In short: Hoooked yarn is great and very versatile. My personal opinion is that it is not for absolute beginners, advanced beginner at least.
That being said, the support is second to none!

Sehr zeitaufwendiger Bestellvorgang, sehr schlechter und unfreundlicher Kundenservice, ich bin auf zusätzlichen Kosten sitzen geblieben, damit ich die Ware überhaupt bekomme. Kann ich absolut nicht weiterempfehlen.

Pretty poor experience. I don't know if things have since improved, but a couple of years ago I was given a hoooked kit to make your own pouffe and I've finally got to the end of the project so can report. Overall, I definitely wouldn't bother with the kits again. The only plus side I can think of is that the stretchiness of the yarn is probably quite helpful for beginners. Lots of issues: Problem 1. The kit was just yarn and instructions; it didn't actually include the cushion for the pouffe so we had to buy that separately.
Problem 2. The instructions (and the linked videos) are pretty useless if you're new to knitting. I had to find other videos on YouTube to work out what I should be doing. And the instructions included coded terms like 'turn' which they don't explain isn't just turning in the usual sense of the word. I did a lot of rows and had to Google why there were holes in it to realise they expected me to do a wraparound stitch when turning the knitting at the end of each row. Not mentioned anywhere in the instructions.
Problem 3. We specifically bought the cushion hoooked recommended as the "kit" didn't come with one, and it doesn't fit the knitting you end up with!! (and I now realise, it also doesn't match the shape of the picture on the box). Cannot tell you how frustrating it is to spend a looooooong time knitting something only to find it doesn't match what you're supposed to be covering.
Problem 4. The colour wasn't as expected. The grey is basically black. (You could argue this was my partner's fault as it was visible through the box when buying)
Problem 5. The yarn has quite a lot of knots in it and some sections where it looks like it might break so you end up with quite a lot more knots that just the few to join the different rolls of yarn.

Ik kocht een haakpakket, daar stond bij vermeld dat dit inclusief een flyer is voor 10 %korting voor de vulling van bijvoorbeeld een poef of kussen. Deze flyer zat niet bij het pakket en bij navraag kreeg ik te horen dat die niet meer beschikbaar zijn ivm IT issues staat dit nog op de site. Ik vroeg om een korting, maar daar wordt niet op gereageerd. Prijs kwaliteit is trouwens ook niet best. Geen klantvriendelijkheid! Bestel hier niets!

My first order with this company and I spent quite a lot, so that I saved on the shipping costs. At first, all seemed well, though some of the yarn was quite dirty, as mentioned in other reviews.
There was a kit worth about £17 missing from the order so I asked for a refund. Customer Services took a long time to reply, despite the response time being stated as 48 hours. They eventually offered a credit note, but I'm unlikely to order from them again so I asked again for a refund. They did so, but for £2 less than I paid - don't know why.
Please be cautious about ordering direct from this company, I wish I'd checked Trustpilot before ordering. To add to the poor experience, I received a bill from UPS a week after the delivery, demanding an extra £7 for who knows what.
I'll be buying their yarn (or similar) from shops in future.

Lieferung binnen 1ner Woche, Qualität top, kann man gar nichts sagen. Und der Kundenservice ebenfalls. Ich hatte auf meine email direkt eine Rückmeldung, zwar in englisch, aber das hat mich bei einem Shop, der eben nicht in Deutschland ansässig ist nicht gestört, dass muss einem eben auch bewusst sein, dass die Korrespondenz dann eben auf englisch sein könnte. Ebenfalls hatte ich einen Anruf erhalten, da ich meine Bestellung doppelt aufgegeben habe, bei den direkt nachgefragt wurde, ob das so stimmt und hier sogar in deutsch. Super freundlich und die Dame bestätigte mir direkt den Versand am nächsten Tag. Also von meiner Seite her, alles bestens gelaufen und ich werde bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder dort bestellen

Echt een slecht bedrijf ik heb een bestelling geplaatst in de avond de volgende ochtend want er bijna 50% korting op alle garen ik vroeg om een compensatie of iets dergelijk zoals een gedeeltelijke cashback. Er werd op geen enkele manier een compensatie geboden ik liet weten dat ik het dan moet retourneren en opnieuw bestellen om gebruik te kunnen maken van de korting hun maken hier geen winst op het is voor beide partijen juist extra moeite echt niet klant vriendelijk het boeit hun echt niet of ze hun klanten gelukkig maken

Sinds 2010 klant bij deze firma. Hun materiaal is prachtig. Recent probeerde ik echter opnieuw een bestelling te plaatsen. Na de invoer van een foutief paswoord is mijn account geblokkeerd. Na verschillende mails en telefoontjes waarbij mij steeds werd beloofd dat alles in orde zou komen, is het nog steeds niet orde. Ik besluit hieruit dat ze voldoende klanten hebben en mij niet meer willen. Gelukkig zijn er nog andere webshops waar de beloftes wel worden uitgevoerd en waar ik wel een welkome klant ben.
