Cover came to our home just as ordered. Well manufactured and solid. Fit perfectly. The order was delayed, but their communication was excellent and they expedited the order from another plant to offset the delay. The follow-up service was excellent. We really appreciated their commitment to service and quality!

We bought a cover for our 2016 Cal Spas. Chose foam upgrades in hopes that it would last longer. We're in LA, and delivery was smooth, they dropped it right by the garage, no issues. The vinyl looks sharp and feels like a solid upgrade from our old vinyl cover. It’s lightweight, well-made, and fits nice. For what we need this cover is spot-on. Definitely happy with the purchase!

Had to replace and old custom cover. Found this company online and the website walked me through step by step from colors and materials to how to measure. Very simple. I had a few questions and they were very quick to respond to my emails. Just received the cover last night and it is exactly as I ordered and the quality is better than I was expecting. Looking forward to it lasting me for many years. Customer service was elite.

I love the spa cover they made. It’s well crafted and fit properly. The truck driver who delivered the box was hard to communicate with, gave me hard time, but I understand this is not their fault. Overall, good experience, I would recommend them

Company shipped a cover with the straps several inches too short and refused to send a replacement cover. Also this company is not Better Business Bureau or "BBB" accredited! After threatening litigation, the company refunded my purchase

Water logged
Cover started to get water logged within the first year. Their warranty is sketchy as you have to pay to ship the cover to them, and then they can deny your claim all while my outdoor tub has no cover. It's so waterlogged now on one side I cannot lift that side. Very unhappy with this purchase of 400 dollars.
Regrettably a sucker
This company does not stand behind there products the lid came in poorly made and seams mismatched I later found out they don't even make them they hand it off to different people around the country and claim they are not reposible.
Poorly run company my guess its just a guy in his basement running it and
ripping people off. Steer clear

Have not received the cover yet so can't comment yet on quality, disappointing part is time from order to delivery, 15 days so far and counting, shipping estimate 15 days, even after paying an additional $200 for shipping! If I'd known it was going to take this long would have gone elsewhere. Won't buy from again

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered my cover. We live a few miles away from their factory, so I said we'd pick it up. They charge a $75 "pickup fee." What a crock of BS! I asked why—they don't even have to box it up, just have the guy bring it to the door. They reason that it takes the guy away from his other work. Can you believe it?

Very similar experience to other reviews. Price quoted was about $60 less than other sites, so I ordered one. When the final charges were listed, it said Cover: $349 Shipping $0.00. Total: $349 So, I purchased and card was immediately charged the $349. I waited about a month. When I did not receive it, I contacted 'Debbie Smith' for an update. After 2 emails, she did get back. She told me that shipping manager said it would cost an additional $199 to ship to where I live. ( I live in Salt Lake City). She noted that their website does not say: "Free shipping". True, but misleading. since my invoice showed $0 cost for shipping.
I requested a refund, which I did get right away. I will order from different company that I have used before. As I said, their price was $60 more, but they do FREE SHIPPING, making their final cost $140 less.
This seems to be the pattern for this business, so beware!

Hottubcoverspot.com is a SCAM
Hottubcoverspot.com is one of at least 8 dba-aliases owned by Howard Kevin Edwards and his wife Deborah Jean Edwards (alias Debbie Smith) AKA Stonewood Manufacturing LLC (home address of 1353 Whispering Oaks Circle, Mathews, NC 28104 and/or 16057 Tampa Palms Blvd West #406, Tampa, FL 33647-2001). Both very beautiful homes. I cancelled a $634.96 spa cover from SpaCoverSpot.com (an alias) 3 weeks ago and they won't reply to my emails or phone message. I have to keep trying. The money was a gift from family and we're on a fixed income. Consider them a scam.
Dishonest, terrible business!
I could simply copy and paste some of the reviews that other “customers” (victims) have left about hottubcoverspot.com AKA Stonewood Manufacturing because their stories are identical to my story. I’ve read reviews on this and other sites going back years that detail the same pattern, the same interactions and frequently mentions of the same people.
Stonewood Manufacturing runs a scam where they quote you a price for a custom-made spa cover on their website using their builder tool, they charge your credit card at checkout and send you confirmation emails. The emails tell you that it will be ~3 weeks for them to make your cover and about a week to ship it to you as well as instructions to watch for a ship confirmation. From there, most customers seem to contact them about a month later when no shipping confirmation ever comes before trying to contact them.
If you call Stonewood Manufacturing, you get a recording telling you to email them. When you email them you get an email response from a woman named Debbie Smith who will tell you that your order was placed on hold and that they’ve been trying to contact you. Debbie goes on to tell you that the price for the cover has gone up and that you must pay the difference before they can ship your cover. In my case, she told me it would be an additional $160 which is similar to what others have reported.
It was pretty clear that nobody ever tried to contact me so I started looking into it. I am an IT professional, and I thoroughly checked my email including my junk mail and found nothing. I also carefully verified that all my contact info was correct on the order. Their automated system clearly had no issue sending me the initial emails and Debbie had no issue replying to my email so I suspected a scam. I looked at several online vendor review sites like this and that’s when I saw the other stories.
I immediately told Stonewood to cancel my order and they sent me an email “confirming” the refund shortly after. I’ve been watching my credit card account and I have NOT seen any evidence of a refund so I am going to call the bank next. These people are dishonest, do not do business with them!
Inconsiderate company
This company does not care about the dissatisfied customer. You can call and call and never talk with anyone. No one answers. Website claims free shipping but it's really close to a 100.00 extra dollars and then once it leaves their warehouse its out of their hands. They do not care. As far as quality it's just so so. Definitely nothing special.
Company misleads and is disingenuous
My biggest complaints:
1. Disingenuous advertising on website suggests one price but seemingly most or all end up costing significantly more. I knew that going in, from looking at reviews, so I wasn’t taken aback all that much. But it’s slimy and dishonest to hide an additional whopping $120 shipping fee. Just raise your damn prices and stop hiding things. And no, putting small print below the footer of your page doesn't constitute clear communication.
2. It took more than a month from ordering to receiving the product. If that’s “Quickest Build and Ship Times!” then I’m the Queen of England. More lies from this company. “Expedited Production ONLY 10-12 Days” …my butt. Shape expectations better.
3. It was also impossible to schedule with their freight company. They’ll come when they come. They’ll give you one day notice.
4. The cover arrived undamaged, but the build quality is only so-so. Whatever they used to line the foam under the exterior is all bunched up in several places. It doesn’t lie flat. Water will pool in these areas. Lame.
All in all, a poor experience. Alas, even with the extra shipping, it’s not a bad deal. Maybe even the cheapest out there still? So… Stonewood Manufacturing / HotTubCoverSpot.com – if you’re listening: tell the truth. Stop misleading people. Your pricing is fine even with the shipping charges. You’ll avoid poor reviews like this one if you stop exaggerating.
I'd give you 1-star, but so far (an hour in) the product is working as expected. So have another star.
Stonewood Manufacturing sent me a hot…
Stonewood Manufacturing sent me a hot tub cover with a large hole in it. Told me to take it up with the freight company that they hired. Freight company would not respond. Obviously occured in manufacturing anyway. STONEWOOD pretty much told me to get lost. Stuck me with a 500.00 hot tub cover that I can not use. This company is corrupt. Wish I had read all the reviews about this company as they have ripped off a lot of people.

I just went outside (I have been home all day – it is raining here in Michigan)
Laying flat on driveway is the carton with my hot tub cover.
No advance delivery notification.
No attempt to ring my door bell or knock.
No opportunity to sign a delivery receipt or inspect the contents.
It was just lying there in my driveway soaked from the rain.
I brought the carton into my dry garage.
The bottom of the carton was busted open.
The top flap of the carton was opened and the staples broken loose.
The plastic bag that was supposed to protect the cover was off and to the side
The bag of tie down hardware was open and missing most parts.
This delivery company is terrible.
BUT I am not at all satisfied with the delivery.
I am asking for a refund of the extra $50.00 I was asked to pay for the “free” expedited delivery.
I am asking for $15.00 refund for the hardware that I had to buy.

Yes you will be charged for freight shipping AFTER you place the order. Mine was $100 and still was 200 bucks cheaper than what I could find locally in Denver!

We've purchased numerous covers from this website over the last 5 years for our vacation rentals. I see many reviews accusing them of calling later for additional shipping charges. This has only happened a couple times for us and it's due to the remote shipping location and it was less than I expected. Once was due to increased freight shipping during covid. Some companies just raise their cost of the product for everyone; this company only charges more when necessary and I completely understand that. Also, it's on the site. We've ordered at least 17 covers and will continue to order from them.
Bait and Switch
Dishonest business practice. Tried to collect 18% more in shipping charges even thought they sold the cover to me quoting free shipping. They said that they reserve the right amend shipping charges. However, this seems to be basic practice from reading other reviews. When I asked where they came up with that 18% they would not explain and emailed me give them the additional money or they would not ship my cover. I even offered to help share some of the charges. Either they are doing this on purpose or they need to fire their shipping manager.
