Hands down the best estate agents I’ve dealt with to date. Extremely professional, hands on and communication is second to none. Numerous viewings secured and conducted by Amanda herself (evenings and weekends too) allowing me to work as normal and not be impacted. Several offers received within the week and was delighted to receive well over home report. Any questions/queries I had were answered in minutes. Couldn’t recommend enough. Thanks for everything.

I asked for a home report as a potential buy to let investors, I got a response asking when I wanted to view (no home report). I wrote saying I wouldn’t arrange a viewing wasting their time or mind prior to seeing a home report, I got a response saying if I was busy what time suited me in 2 weeks- still no home report just a message saying give us a call when you have a sec with a wee smiling face - WHAT? Still no home report (5 working days).

I’m just glad they’re not selling anything of mine. Clearly they are losing potential buyers.

Unfortunately, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very disappointing, mainly because of poor communication and a lack of professionalism throughout the process.

Before our house was put on the market, Amanda was very confident that she could achieve a certain price for our property. However, our first concern was when the photos were taken using a phone rather than professional camera equipment. Although phone cameras are good these days, the photos did not have the quality we expected for selling a property. When the advert went live, there were too many photos, and some did not show the house in the best way.

The biggest problem for us was communication. After the first week, it became difficult to get updates. There were very few viewings, and things did not improve while we were with them. Calls often went unanswered, and promised call-backs rarely happened. We often felt like we were chasing them for information rather than being kept updated.

After around three weeks of frustration, we decided to end our agreement with them. What disappointed us most was that there was no real effort to understand why we wanted to leave. We were simply asked to pay the marketing fee so the property could be taken off the market. Once we paid, the only reply we received was confirmation of payment and a short “good luck” message.
After this, I noticed I had been blocked on WhatsApp and social media. I also emailed about removing the “For Sale” sign but received no reply or confirmation that this had been arranged.

Overall, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very poor. Based on what we experienced, I would not recommend them to others. The level of communication, professionalism and customer service was not what we expected when selling our home.

Our home was struggling and had been on the market for best part of 4 months with no signs of improvement, changed over to Alan Sheilds at housespotters and things certainly changed for the better I started getting people back through the door and ended up with a few different offers within a short space of time, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to sell their property takes all the stress and unwanted bullsh*t that comes with the process away… Thanks again Alan.

Allan took over after we were on the market with another estate agents for 6/7 weeks and completely turned around how it was going. Kenny, my estate agent was fantastic. When i was in the process of looking at an estate agent to use i had 3 lined up to meet. Kenny was the first, and last. As soon as we had our meeting i didnt bother with the rest as i had full confidence in Kenny - and it paid off. As soon as my house went live, the viewings started to get scheduled instantly - Didnt need them through. Kenny sold my house to the first viewer over what we expected to get.
