Dreadful company…
Dreadful company used by the previous tenants. They haven’t paid the energy bill for some time and so my daughter and her friends who aren’t using housr can’t change energy supplier. They are stuck with the supplier housr used until housr decide to pay an apparently substantial bill.

We’re really sorry to hear about the trouble your daughter and her friends are having with the energy supplier transition. We completely understand how frustrating this situation must be.
We'll never block new tenants from switching to a different provider - it's completely up the current tenants to decide which service to use, as we'll settle any unpaid bills with previous tenants.
If the affected tenants could reach out to us at support@housrapp.co.uk with more details, we'd be happy to look into if there's anything we're able to do from our side of things to help get things moving.

My daughter had a couple of teething…
My daughter had a couple of teething problems with the app and payment, I messaged them and the CEO replied and and called me personally got his team to message and explain things to my daughter so she understood the payments. The CEO then text me to explain what had happened and explained the situation. He went above and beyond to make sure mine and my daughter were at ease. I appreciate as a company grows this can’t always be the case but for me and my daughter it made a huge difference. As a parent, I now have confidence that my daughter was dealing with people who cared about their customers
