That which I commend Howards Peugeot, Taunton for, is in relation to the way in which they addressed a difficult situation which was beyond their control:
Having commenced the MOT and service on our car, they discovered that there was a requirement for a new tyre.
Since our vehicle is a Motability vehicle they had to wait for authorisation from Motability. It was delayed - resulting in the need for a taxi to be called to provide a journey home. Thank you for your help and kindness.

I had such a wonderful experience buying my new car from Peugeot Taunton, thanks to Martin. He was so thoughtful and genuinely took all the pressure off the process. My car went in for MOT, service, this car runs smoothly, I was advised by Howard Peugeot Taunton to do a Timing belt which is due when the car is 10years old, all this with one other repair amounted to £1700ish. My car came back with an “engine fault needs repair” at almost every start of the vehicle the sound of the car has become so bad you can hear something making a weird noise. I called to ask the receptionist told me I will have to pay again, my question is how do I trust that when I take it back in and make another payment which is not cheap, will all the issues be fixed….. my trust for Howard group Taunton is broken,

My 3008 has malfunctioned twice; on both occasions, the car was either about to stop working or had already stopped working, and on both occasions, it was not possible to inspect the vehicle for over a month. The second most recent time, they tried to refuse to take the car when the AA recovery team attempted to deliver the non-functioning vehicle to them. My car would not drive, and they at first refused to take the vehicle. In 2 weeks, they have not managed to do even a diagnostic, and also have no courtesy cars available.
I have now raised a case with Peugeot UK, we will see what happens now, but I am not holding my breath one very frustrated Peugeot car owner

I have so much confidence in my car after it’s been checked by the mechanics, and the lovely lady’s on the service desk are so helpful and reassuring explaining everything, amazing customer service and put me at ease when informed me of some safety issues I was not aware of.

Took my Citroen to Howard’s Peugeot as we had a problem with a speaker. Citroen couldn’t sort it so Peugeot had a look and sorted the fault. Brilliant service from the workshop and excellent help and communication from Courtney in reception.

I would like to thank jess Smith for her professional approach and sorting out the right vehicle for us.
She even came in on her day off and met us at the Yeovil branch. I was happy with the way she dealt with the changeover and she made sure the vehicle was ready and everything was done as agreed.
I would definitely recommend Howard's group at Taunton.

Having limped home yesterday with a burned-out out clutch in a Peugeot 2008 bought from Howard's Taunton, I tried to phone them this morning to arrange repairs. After being on hold for 50 minutes I gave up, phoned again and left a message to give full details, the promised call back still hasn't happened and now the garage has closed for the day. Howard's have failed totally and don't justify the one star I had to give.

After a recent disappointment Howard's surpassed themselves and have proven that care and customer satisfaction top of their list. Many thanks for the work on my beloved 406 and the quote " what many hath made man can repair" comes to mind, certainly when Howard's work is involved. Much gratitude along with wishes for a continued successful business.

Following on from my previous review -
Howards Peugeot Taunton have addressed and resolved all of my concerns with regards to brakes.
They have shown understanding and professionalism.

I am appalled at the level of customer service by Howard’s Taunton Peugeot.

My 2020 plate car I bought in April 2023.
The lighting unit was having issues with condensation
I was told that warranty will cover it and to bring it in for repair.
Upon collection of the repair I was told warranty have declined this and instead they have drilled “ventilation holes” in the uni to help.
Since then condensation has become worse and the unit is now leaking water and water is pooling within the light. This issue has been going on for 9months and continually hitting a brick wall with my local dealer saying it’s not under warranty despite telling me upon pick up last week it was faulty and I need to replace the housing unit. When I told them it was indeed under warranty they suddenly changed their minds to “oh well warranty won’t cover it” despite telling me it was faulty.
I have since explained the situation to another Peugeot dealer where I bought the car from , they have said that as the ventilation holes didn’t solve the issue and actually made it worse then Howard’s should fix the lighting unit anyway.

Please explain how lighting unit housing leaks is not under warranty and last year when it was under the 3year standard warranty why it was still not repaired correctly when I raised the issues in April and how the ventilation holes have now meant the whole housing is constant water droplets and pooling inside.

Couldn't have been a smoother process if i tried. Bought a second-hand Peugeot 208 from the Taunton branch, and the team were fantastic from start to finish. Really supportive in helping me find what I needed, and were thorough in their explanation of the various steps of compliance required. Special shout out to Lewis Totterdell who took me through the process. You'd hardly believe he was in his first two weeks in the job!

Can thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for their next car!

This review has been shortened several times as the journey to finding the perfect car was very long..
on this journey with me was Brad
I have bought Peugeots for nearly 30 years .. but this time it was both a test to his patience and perseverance - however he displayed both along with quiet professional friendliness
.. i put down a deposit on the first.. then had an issue - unrelated to my purchase - which created a proper sulk and change of mind - Brad gave me a safe space to have my hissy fit and a chance to cool off before making an informed decision about that first car -
i decided to go with a different one and in the moment it took me to reach that decision it sold online...
one thing I knew.. i wanted a car and Brad wanted to find me the right one.... and he did...

it took simply ages (well 10 days) to arrive but I am delighted with it... it fits my needs exactly ...

remember the first one? it was pointed out by family it really only suited my dogs needs..... (and this is what I had highlighted)
this one fits us both.

Taunton Peugeot come very highly recommended by me and Brad in particular went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy and had the right car for my pocket and my needs.

1st ever visit today to howards.booked my motorhome in for a airbag issue.on arrival was told there was a recall to be done also.left it there and really pleased when they phoned around 3 and advised all done and repaired..on collection the service adviser was fantastic answered all my questions and was very helpful and friendly..the all round service I received from howards peugeot taunton is superb and I'm happy to recommend this dealer to everyone.. thank you howards for a fab job and fixing my pride and joy

I've just had my car returned from its first service

For medical reasons at present neither my wife or I can drive. We arranged pick up and return by Howards Hyundai Taunton.

The driver who collected and retrned our car was courteous proffessional and friendly

The service helpdesk was equally friendly in the booking process and after service communication in what could have been a stressfull situation they made it easy and carefree.

I also received a video of the safety check they carried out
All in all a wonderfull experience

I went in with no idea of what I wanted to replace my old car. Brad Bailey supported me all the way. No pressure, utmost patience and I am very happy with my Peugeot purchase.
