Terrible Customer Service and Inaccurate Shipping Times

I am writing to report a disappointing experience I’ve had with Hyperice regarding an order I placed on October 14, 2024, for their lower body system. According to their website, my order was supposed to be processed and shipped by October 18, 2024. However, I have encountered several issues since placing the order.

On October 17 and 18, I contacted Hyperice to inquire about the lack of tracking information. During these calls, I was informed that their warehouse had not fulfilled my order yet, and I was assured it would be shipped that day due to their acknowledged delay. However, as of October 21, I still had not received a tracking number, despite being told one would be provided by the end of the day on October 18.

I attempted to follow up via email with no response, and the promised call from a supervisor never occurred. When I called again, I was informed that one package had shipped and was scheduled for delivery on October 25, but the second package remained in the warehouse (as of today, 10/25/24). When I requested to escalate the issue, I was told that management typically does not make outbound calls. After a lengthy discussion with the representative, I was left feeling that my concerns were not being taken seriously.

Overall, Hyperice has shown a lack of accountability, failing to meet their shipping commitments or provide effective customer service. I feel that they are not prioritizing customer satisfaction and are unable to resolve issues efficiently.

Nice product, defective quality

This is a review regarding poor production quality regarding this company's NormaTec compression boots.
Have had several experiences with these boots. The spa of my gym in Chicago offers them 15 minute sessions at a price. Did maybe 20-30 sessions after intense 2 hour workouts. I was in heaven as the burning dissolved. My legs were joyful!
So I splurged.
Bought a pair from a major retailer for $799. In the first usage, the compression was weak. Really weak. I have enough experience with this product at the gym, so tried attaching and re-attaching the tubes. Same lame result. Then the "Air Leak" signal illuminated on the unit. 'Nuf said.
With days left on the retailer warranty, I returned the faulty NormaTec boots for a full refund. For $800+, one deserves outstanding quality. That is Normatec lacks. Further, this company's failure to to respond to reviews here reinforces their lack of regard for their customers once the sale has been made.

Enttäuschende Kundenbetreuung und schlechte Produktqualität

Ich habe vor kurzem ein Produkt von Hyperice bestellt, das schon bei der Lieferung nicht funktionierte. Obwohl ich das Problem sofort gemeldet habe, war der Kundenservice sehr langsam und unkooperativ. Anstatt eine schnelle Lösung anzubieten, wurde ich mit zusätzlichen Anforderungen wie dem Einsenden eines Beweisvideos, der Seriennummer und anderen unnötigen Schritten belastet – alles für ein Produkt, das von Anfang an defekt war.

Es scheint, als hätte der Kundenservice meine E-Mails nicht einmal richtig gelesen, da ich bereits alle notwendigen Informationen bereitgestellt hatte. Auch auf meine wiederholten Nachfragen, das Problem unkompliziert zu lösen, wurde nicht eingegangen.

Ich hoffe, Hyperice überdenkt seinen Ansatz zum Kundenservice, denn so verliert man Kunden.

Great while the product worked

I got this for my daughter and it worked great for a month. After the return window closed, the main unit stopped working. After only a month I had to return it for a warranty repair. Maybe I was unlucky but I’m not happy with their QC. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m still waiting for the device to be repaired and returned. I can’t recommend this product.

Compression legs exchanged

When my order arrived, I had apparently ordered the wrong size and needed to get the legs exchanged for Short. Breanna with customer experience made this experience a breeze. I received my short size today, in a very timely manner. Thank you Breanna!

Issue with Vyper 3

I had an issue with the Viper 3 I purchased a few months earlier. Breanna helped me out so much. After some preliminary troubleshooting, she understood my issue and made every reasonable effort to support me and uphold HyperIce’s warranty. Sometimes, problems just happen. In this case, I felt taken care of and a replacement unit was sent without delay. That's the kind of interaction that every one would want to have when issues arise. And it's a company that I can whole-heartedly endorse.

I purchased my Normatec during covid in…

I purchased my Normatec during covid in 2020.
The product lives upto their proposition and works wonders for my recovery and sleep.
But the most amazing thing I want to share is the post sale service from Hyperice. I have twice needed to contact them to resolve issues and they have been amazing . Their service is totally focused on customer needs . It’s prompt , professional and problem solving . I would not hesitate to anyone not sure to purchase Hyperice ( Normatek ). This is a unique differentiator.

Appalling communication

Appalling communication. I have now sent 4 emails requesting a refund for an item purchased in error. This is effectively stealing, very very disappointed.

Had an issue with my order

Had an issue with my order, delivery update states it’s returning to sender - have had to create multiple contact tickets to get a response and now have not heard back when I have opted for a refund instead of a replacement as this was a gift, which subsequently is no longer needed. Be wary, if there’s any delivery issues they’ll be wary to fulfill your desired resolution. Order 1716857738545

Excellent company and employees

Excellent company and employees, especially the costumer care specialist Alex Moscalu.
I had a problem with my normatec and they solved it immediately.
Highly efficient and helpful. I recommend it!

Shocking Customer Service

I recently bought a Hyperice product which although it charges doesnt turn on making it useless. To try and return it or contact customer service has proved impossible and there is no one to contact except message Bots.

If you like these products buy through a dealer/shop who has customer service although I would avoid all together as there is no quality control at all.

Terrible customer service- 3 weeks no refund

Returned my order and have been chasing for a refund for over 3 weeks since. Got told an email I received about 'new order shipping' was an error and I needed to wait more time. It's been 3 weeks and so far zero refund.

Awful service, I have had to chase several times and receive very short, unhelpful answers. Overpriced products compared to competitors and I won't be buying from them again.

Just caveat emptor in Irvine Calif.

Received my Hyperice product, which to-date seems to be working well. The unit is supposed to blue tooth to a Hyperice App. This is just BS!!! (1) After almost a week of writing and calling Co., I still am NOT able to even sign into my account. Hence, I cannot use the App. This company has the most incompetent customer service & NO tech support. WOW!!! I guess its caveat emptor in Irvine Calif.

Awesome customer service on my Normatec…

Awesome customer service on my Normatec 3. Unable to charge the device for some reason, after a couple of quick mails to customer services showing the serial code and proof of purchase, I was sent a return delivery pre paid postage and within 48hrs of posting, received a new device. Can't ask for more than that with a product that is 18 months old

5star customer service

5star customer service! My massage gun stop working after a year~ . I send an email to the company and starting communicate with the customer care. I had a new replacement into 3 weeks~. Good job ! Thank you !
As for the massage gun. It’s the best in its price . Good quality and intense. I don’t know the reason that’s stop working but I know they re gonna help you.

Highly Recommend

I ordered two sets of Normatec Legs with Hip attachment directly from Hyperice.ca in October 2023.
The purchase was made for 2 young athletes engaged in elite level hockey at a full time hockey academy. Both boys use them before and after games and practices and have nothing but good things to say about the product and how it relieves muscle fatigue and soreness.
Beyond the quality of the items, I want to comment on the excellent experience dealing with Hyperice. There were some supply issues and both orders were unable to be filled as planned. During the period of waiting for inventory, the items went on sale at a considerable discount. I inquired about a price adjustment, and was put in contact with customer service rep Alejandra, who did an excellent job in getting the price adjustment through and issuing a prompt refund. The order was shipped by courier, and arrived promptly and in good condition. In my experience, this is an good company that puts a priority on customer service and satisfaction.

Great product and great customer service

I've been using the Hypervolt 2 Pro for little over a year & I am very happy with this device. I feel especially refreshed after strenous leg workouts or after sitting down at the office all day.

I am also extremely impressed with their customer service: very knowledgeable and fast acting, very nice way to have my issue handled like this.

Great product and great customer service. Definetly recommend!

Customer service was appalling

Customer service was appalling. Purchased on Monday and paid additional for express post. Not dispatched until Friday, so despite the express post option, delivery still took over a week. Raised the issue with customer service who provided a ridiculous cop out response with no genuine attempt to resolve.
