My husband’s has a private pension SIPP with Standard Life managed by an advisor at IBA Wealth Management..
Last year the adviser was off long term and so it was difficult to have the annual check up and advise.
We have just found out that he has now left IBA WM. Neither the adviser or IBA informed us after being a client for many years. We are shocked at the poor service and care for a client and their pension which is crucial for our retirement.
Both parties have blamed the other for the lack of information and communication
It now appears that this was the adviser’s responsibility which did not happen
