keychain syncs unreliable - lost major collection of passwords

You can’t download your photos from iCloud to your phone, so you have to take screenshots of them instead. iCloud randomly selects which photos that should be on the phone and which are on iCloud, and you can do nothing to change that. Best advice is to stop using the app and download surplus photos yourself.

Die iCloud ist extrem langsam und Uploads werden häufig abgebrochen, und das schon bei einfachen PDF's. Filme im MP4 Format bekomme ich oft gar nicht hochgeladen, auch wenn sie nur 300MB haben. Vollkommen unbrauchbar wenn man öfter damit arbeiten möchte.
Apple baut super Hardware, aber die iCloud ist im Vergleich zu Google Drive (superschnell, einwandfrei und fehlerloser Synch) einfach eine Qual.

Monsieur Kevin, conseillé auprès de IONOS a su faire preuve de professionnalisme en m'incitant de souscrire au programme IONOS de référencement. C'est le premier conseillé/e chez IONOS qui depuis 2 ans qui a eu la présence d'esprit de m'expliquer que le .FR limitait la visibilité de mon site qu'à la France, et occultait mon site au reste du monde. Monsieur Kevin m'a également persuader d'adhérer au programme de référencement IONOS qui j'en suis persuadé m'ouvrira un horizon plus large, à l'instar de celui de mes deux concurrents. Encore merci IONOS d'avoir mis à notre disposition un professionnel transcendant qui mérite ma considération.

Completely ridiculous. Only 5 GB space for everything on your phone. Then you have to pay to get more space. Icloud also saves Mb from apps like Garageband and it is impossible to remove. If you delete a photo on your Iphone it gets deleted on Icloud as well.

Icloud is weird, and pointless

Icloud løb fuld, så jeg slettede så jeg kun brugte 2,8GB af 5GB.
6 timer senere siger iphone foto applikationen stadig at jeg ikke har plads på icloud.
Jeg har slettet både via. icloud og fra iphone.
Hvor lang tid skal man vente før iphone opdager den 2,2 GB ledige plads?

Sauvegarde icloud qui ne fonctionne jamais, menus nébuleux, codes à tout va pour essayer de retrouver ses comptes. Elle est bien loin l'époque où apple brillait par l'ergonomie et la fiabilité de ses produits et services.
Bref aujourd'hui on m'a remplacé mon iphone et je n'ai plus rien. Une chose est certaine : le jour où c'est moi qui choisirai mon smartphone, ce sera tout sauf apple.

Ich nutze nur den kostenlosen Service, der doch sehr eingeschränkt ist. Nichteinmal einen Link zum teimen der Daten kann ich generieren lassen geschweige denn einen ganzen Ordner über das Webonterface herunterladen.

Für mich ist der Dienst leider komplett unbrauchbar.

iCloud har slettet omkring 4.000 billeder og videoer fra alle mine enheder. Apple siger at der ikke er noget de kan gøre ved det og at de kan ske.
De siger at iCloud ikke kan erstatte en ekstern harddisk. - Hvilket er mærkeligt da de reklamere med at man "nemt og sikkert kan bruge iCloud til backup"

Jeg betaler 25 kr. om måneden for at have 200 gb plads. - Så det er ikke plads mangel.
Apple support lovede at finde ud af hvorfor det kan være sket. Men jeg har aldrig hørt fra dem siden, selvom jeg har skrevet mails til personen jeg var i kontakt med.

De hverken undskylder for at have slettet flere tusind af mine minder og proces billeder til arbejde.
Der er ingen kompensation og de giver op på at finde de forsvunde billeder.
Jeg har aldrig oplevet noget lignende...
Så jeg vil anbefale alle ikke at stole på at iCloud gemmer alt for dig. - Lad hver med at brug penge på det og køb en harddisk.

Worst experience ever.
I share my apple ID with my children in order to install games on their apple devices. Default settings of icloud, allowed my children to see my private data such as porn sites subscription and pictures although I was keeping them in 'hidden' folder.
It started when I paid for subscription, let's say if I bought any other cloud drives, this never happened to me.

Marre de recevoir les mails Icloud, avec Votre espace de stockage iCloud est saturé. et demande de paiement pour s'abonner. Impossible de désabonner de ses emails ce n'est pas légal. c'est limite du harcement.

I had the bad idea of trusting iCloud to backup my files. I had all my files from university there, with all my projects and all my important things. All gone... this is not only a poor service, it's a plain scam.

After a complete digital crisis (6 years of important files and documents) because I depended on icloud "safely" "backup" important files and documents..

ICLOUD IS FAR FROM SAFE!!!
TONS OF IMPORTANT BACKED UP FILES GONE!!!
6 YEARS OF BACUKPS DESTROYED!!!

Now you might wonder why?
The simple truth is Apple is removing your files without letting you know...
After I've been testing and analyzing files "safety" in ios or apple environment I came to the quick conclusion after barely a week...

I photographed my new saved files on IOS and then checked EVERYDAY for a week if there were files being removed or missing without my knowledge. After only a couple of days apple had deleted MANY important files that I stored on iOS without letting me know..

For a very long time I was expecting this outcome since through the years files were just missing all of a sudden??? I almost thought I was getting crazy, being extremely aware and backing up files to icloud almost everyday now since I can't afford to lose important information and files that I store on my apple devices.

Unfortunately you can back up as much as you want within APPLE iCloud but is not safe at all!!!
FILES WILL BE MISSING AND FAST!

Now I will get rid of all my Apple gear that I praised for years because of being naive and fall for the simplicity of many apple software and products.
It's simply not worth investing your time with this FRAUD company!

From now on I will get a REAL SAFE BACKUP using hard drives and never cloud again! Also whatever PC with a Microsoft environment, probably and android phone.

Hope that this information will help others that has been in doubt and with the same issues regarding files and safety within Apple.

It was "fun" trying out Apple and it's environments but it was FAR FROM WORTH IT since I'm now left with big amounts of lost data and information that will be extremely hard to recreate...

NEVER will I use or trust Apple again.

Downloading files to a pc is very frustrating. I want to download my library to the hard drive. There is no easy way to do this. Sync just doesn't do anything. This is a very complex, frustrating and time consuming. Definitely will change to other service.

Good, cheap and easy solution. Thanks to this it was never so easy to switch between the old and new phone.

Not so bad. Easy to use. Better than the competitor PC**ud. Ask me to change rating without appropriate reasons. Even hide my reviews on their site.
