Pure catfish…. Absolutely shocking!
I saw this brown Tommy Hilfiger jacket online and thought I’d found a gem. Well tailored, vibrant colours, stripes in blue, red, brown and more. it looked stylish, distinctive and genuinely worth the original €380 price tag. It was on sale for around €190, so I thought, why not?
Delivery was impressively quick. Unfortunately, that was where the good experience ended.
I opened the package and was genuinely befuddled. For a few minutes, I actually wondered if there was something wrong with my eyesight. I had to call a couple of people over to confirm that what I was looking at was, in fact, the jacket they had sent me.
It looked nothing like the jacket advertised online. The colours, appearance and overall finish were so far removed from the product pictured that I honestly wondered if someone had played a practical joke on me.
And the price? Even at €190, it felt insulting. I genuinely wouldn’t expect this monstrosity to make the cut at a charity shop, never mind being sold by Tommy Hilfiger at anything close to €380.
This wasn’t a case of “it looks slightly different in person. This was online dating levels of catfishing the profile picture promised one thing and the person who turned up was an entirely different individual.
Extremely disappointing. Tommy Hilfiger, you can do much better than this. Awful experience and absolutely not worth the money.

The process of ordering payment and delivery was smooth.
The whole process was smooth no hassles. My only wish is for Tommy to have prices on tops or bottoms when advertising either alone. By this i mean, when you are selling a tshirt also have a price for the jeans or bottoms rather than having to spend time looking.
