Two months ago I took my car there for a repair of the bonnet opening mechanism. They then, allegedly, found two more items that desperately needed repair. The total bill came to £650. As I am a single woman without any knowledge of cars I trusted them to be honest and had the car fixed.
Nothing wrong there at that point I was happy and thought I had been served well.
Then I needed new windshield wipers. Again as I have no clue how to go about that I went back to this garage and they were really nice, so I thought and fitted me with new ones £54. LAter I found out that I could have gotten them for under £30 and the fitting is a less than 5 min job.
Then when I wanted to open the bonnet to fill the water reservoir for my wipers the bonnet wouldn't open. I went back to the garage and they said that they couldn't open it and the bonnet latch was seized/broken and it had nothing to do with their previous repair. I needed a new one, according to them. The part, I was told, was £212 (No mention of VAT and labour, but as you can assume that was coming on top of the cost of the part.
Obviously I wasn't happy about that and thanks to the help of a friend we took the car to another garage for a second opinion. They not only opened the bonnet within 5 minutes but also discovered that the only thing wrong was that the new cable had not been attached properly and had simply come loose.
No charge, and the assurance that it shouldn't come loose again now that it had been attached properly. Pluss that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my bonnet latch. Not only has the other place been honest they also solved the shoddy job this Ignition Autos did on my car.

I needed to get my car repaired at the last minute for an MOT failure before the current MOT ran out. The garage we as very helpful and accommodating in getting the car sorted. They were honest and clear about what needed doing and the costs involved. Very friendly and approachable attitude. The repairs were carried out quickly and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend this garage and will be using for all car maintenance work in the future.

This was the second time the guys at ignition autos got me back on the road within the same day! After first visiting when they were only just up and running to get my exhaust fixed, when I had overheating and a coolant leak I knew I felt comfortable and confident to take it back to ignition autos. I got the same friendly welcome and even though I didn't expect to be sorted same day due to them being so busy but I not only got the car back fixed but the cost was reasonable and honest.
