These people are completely useless and absolutely incompetent. I placed my order three days ago, and now it’s already 7 PM and they still haven’t delivered my cake. On top of that, I even paid extra delivery charges for this pathetic service. I strongly recommend that no one buys from this fraudulent, disgraceful site. Thanks.

I placed an order for a cake three days in advance, expecting it to be delivered today as promised. Instead, I received a message at the last moment asking me to pay an extra 100 rupees for a so-called “distance change,” even though all delivery details were clearly provided during the order process.

When I contacted customer support to understand this unexpected charge, the representative abruptly disconnected the call without offering any explanation. This kind of customer service is completely unacceptable.

Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience. The company lacks transparency, professionalism, and basic customer respect. I strongly advise others not to purchase from here.

The service is very bad. The cake we ordered was not delivered; instead, a low-quality cake from the local market was sent. They charged around 900 rupees but delivered a cake worth only 200–300 rupees. This is very poor service.

Very worst experience with them. First of all they requested extra delivery charge of 150/- after 2 hrs of placing order in their website. In the website no delivery charge was mentioned.. then i called them to send me some proof that why delivery charge is needed and this kind of charging request i havent ever seen in the case of other online shopping. And then i asked them for cancellation and refund. They told that if cancelled no refund will be paid.. so had process with extra 150/-delivery charge.. but dont know where the order is actually placed.. the people are such annoying... i wrote there during placing order to write happy birthday on the cake.. they wrote the sender's name on the cake.. how embarassing.. just feel... disgusting

they are complete scammers contacted a youtuber regarding this already and this the audio i couldnt add ausio and screenshots but this company is gonna face its scamming crimes now

Very bad service. Agent told me there are no refund policy. They don't delivered cake on time I paid extra charges for delivery on time. But they delivered after 15 hours 😤

Very poor customer support service. They are too rude to talk. Along with it, they don't even convey correct order delivery timing.

Personal experience, I called them for knowing the order status, first of all, it was unreachable and later connected to one, who was talking in a way which was very inconvenient to me and was completely rude. No clarity. Again called (13 calls made back-to-back) and got connected to another agent who then conveyed that the order is late for delivery.

No co-operation. Lastly order got delivered too late. The taste was also very bad as they delivered it from local shops.

I ordered cake for my mom but they never delivered it on the day and next day without asking our confirmation sent the cake to the hotel where we already vacated. They didn't even provide refund and their customer service is very bad don't even talk politely to customers.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had with an online cake delivery service.

I placed an order specifically for a birthday surprise with a confirmed delivery window of 2–4 PM. The cake was never delivered and the entire surprise was ruined. Instead of informing me about the issue, the order just sat there with no update.

Customer support was incredibly disappointing. Messages were seen but not responded to, and the only response I eventually received was that a refund would be processed. A refund does not fix the fact that the occasion was completely spoiled.

If you cannot guarantee delivery, do not promise it on your website. This experience shows a complete lack of reliability and customer care.

I will never order from this website again and I will absolutely not recommend this service to anyone in my circle.

India Cakes is a fraud company. 1st they will take the order and not deliver saying that the pin code was not provided earlier which is merely impossible. Then they will make the order to cancel and give refund in the form of coupon. That means they will take the money and keep in their account until we have other occasion to order another stuff. Such a scam they are doing by taking money in their account and investing it.

I am extremely disappointed with IndiaCakes.com. I confirmed that same-day delivery was available before ordering, and the website explicitly confirmed availability at 7:00 PM without any extra charges at checkout (only ₹79 was shown).

However, after I paid, the delivery never happened. When I contacted support, they claimed same-day delivery was not possible and demanded an extra ₹400, which was never disclosed at checkout. This is classic bait-and-switch behavior.

Website Issues:

Misleading System: The site allows "Same Day" selection late in the evening, only to deny it after taking the payment.

Lack of Transparency: Extra fees are hidden during checkout and demanded later.

No User Dashboard: No way to log in or track the order/complaint.

Legal Violations (Consumer Protection E-Commerce Rules, 2020):

Rule 6, 5(b): Failure to display the total price including all delivery charges at checkout.

Rule 7, 4: Refusing a bank refund for deficient/late service. A coupon is not a legal substitute for a refund to the original payment mode.

I have all the screenshots of the checkout screen and the chat. If a full refund is not processed to my bank account, I will be filing a formal complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (1915).

Midnight delivery? Same-day delivery? Apparently just decorative labels. The order wasn’t delivered on time, and customer service was nowhere to be found despite multiple attempts to reach them. Truly disappointing and unprofessional.

There is no customer care . When i called the customer care number given , a kid answered the phone and they were just laughing on the phone!

The WhatsApp contact given on the website does not replies and no option to call the WhatsApp contact.

On 9th Feb 2026, we ordered a cake [2407036261] from Indiacakes.com for same-day delivery to PIN code 521002. On the platform, it was clearly confirmed as “Yes, we have delivery at 521002,” which is why we agreed to pay the delivery charges. We even went out of our way to call their customer support to double-check the delivery timing and were confidently told that the cake would be delivered before 7 PM. Despite this assurance, nothing was delivered. Only later did we find out that the order had been cancelled, without any email. When we tried reaching customer care, our calls were repeatedly disconnected mid-conversation, which felt extremely unprofessional. There was no ownership, no apology, and no effort to resolve the issue. A special moment was spoiled due to their careless handling and poor communication. They clearly do not care about customer satisfaction. This platform cannot be trusted when timing matters, and we strongly warn others to think twice before ordering.

Extremely disappointing first experience.
I placed a cake order on Indiacakes.com for delivery in Machilipatnam (Order ID: 2407036261) and then called customer service to confirm timely delivery. I was clearly assured it would be delivered on time.
However, the cake was not delivered, and later I was informed that the order was cancelled without any email or notification. Customer care kept disconnecting the calls, which was highly unprofessional.
I am still waiting for the refund confirmation email. Poor communication, zero accountability, and a ruined special occasion.
