We have a specialist person-to-person medical screening for people with more complex medical conditions. Everyone reacts differently to a medical condition and you may not be able to tick all the boxes during an online medical screening, this is where the person-to-person screening comes in. How we started:

Fiona Macrae

After Fiona Macrae, Insurancewith’s founder, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, she found it almost impossible to get affordable travel insurance. Like anyone else, she was looking forward to a holiday, but sensibly-priced cover seemed out of reach. Insurancewith was created to help people with all kinds of conditions – including cancer, mental health, epilepsy, and many disabilities – get the most suitable cover for your personal needs at a price to suit your budget.

The call handler was extremely helpful…

The call handler was extremely helpful and patient whilst I listed all of my medications and conditions that I suffer from. She was polite and helpful. She recognised that I was a repeat customer so provided me with a small discount as I informed her I’d deleted my email as it was a spontaneous decision to visit family.
Excellent all round service.
I was pleased with the reasonable quote too.

Good Purchasing Procedure and Price

The on line questionnaire was very thorough and relatively easy to complete. The price quoted was very competitive.
Obviously I cannot review the claims process as I have no need to claim, but I hope the company is not one of those insurers that readily take your premiums but find any reason under the sun to refuse claims when needed.

Can’t / Won’t Quote waste of time

The app and the website don’t work for me at all seems to permanently think I want insurance for 2 and then keeps asking me if I want to have a new quote without even providing a first. A very odd company going by the way the quote system operates. So not for me thanks.

Accessible, supportive advice available

Recommended by other prostate cancer patients. Option to speak to a human being was refreshing and reassuring. Really appreciated bring able to book a telephone appointment to discuss options. This is alien territory for us, as it is no doubt for others, and support is valued.
