The rug I received was nothing like the color posted on the website. Was listed as red, and what I got was totally multicoloured.
I knew there would some variation in color from rug to rug but this was clearly misleading. Of course I won't go into cost and hassle of returning it so they win. How much $$$$ have this company got away with , with their misleading advertising.

I purchased a large rug about 10months ago. It arrived quickly (less than 2 weeks) and when I first opened it was creased pretty bad but I followed their instructions of letting it sit and vacuum and within a few days it was fine! The rug was same colours as expected and was true to size minus a few centimeters. Look, if you're paying half or a third the cost of a similar sized rug in NZ you have to expect it's not going to amazing quality, majority of these rugs are polypropylene polyester not wool. But it is so easy to clean and loved the jute backing. I've recently bought another one and my estimated delivery is next week so I'm looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.

I Live in Wellington NZ, had ordered 2 Coffee shop rugs for NZ$ 600, very surprised to receive them well in time. The large rug was folded and not rolled because of it's size ,took a couple of weeks to come back to normal. The other one was rolled but the colour differed from what they advertised. It's a hassle to send it back so I'll have to make do with it. Will probably order 2 more , just waiting for the company's reply. The rugs are not bad though.

Arrived quick but the Rug does NOT look like the pictures on their website. It looks cheap and very shinny.
They won’t pay for sending it back... and they are located in the US so hundreds of dollars for me to return it
AVOID !! don’t waste your money and buy local :)

I was browsing online for a rug and found irugs. Variety of choices and looks pretty good so i buy one. It was too late for me to read the reviews as i already paid it. I was worried at first due to negative feedback from clients. my thinking is that, i will just try my luck.things changed today as i received my order. 1 week after i purchased. Not exactly as it looks like on the website yet not bad and i'm still satisfied.👍

I ordered and paid for a rug 21st February 2021. Yesterday, 18March 2021, I sent an email to ask when I could expect delivery or refund. Reply came back same day but was just the normal acknowledgment of receipt of the email. Today, 19 March 2021 I have tried to phone them twice. Both times the automatic voice told me "We want to give an Outstanding Service experience. Then proceeded, after waiting 30 minutes each time, to tell me that "No one was available:. Outstanding service experience, I don't think so. Now I have to try to get my money back.

I bought two rugs from irugs.co.nz
A 2.4m x 2.4m and a 6ft runner. The 2.4m x 2.4m rug was exactly as described in colour and thickness its pile was 1/3rd an inch and colours true to photograph. The runner a "Havana" red was actually more pink and 7mm thick (so thinner slightly than advertised) both rugs arrived in less than a week! Impressive considering they originated in cincinatti USA.. I am stoked with the quality.. I know they're cheap so was a little worried, but they are far superior to anything I've seen in NZ stores like the warehouse etc. A word of caution for those paying with an ANZ issued visa.. The bank immediately cancelled my card after purchase and it took me the rest of the day to get hold of the credit card fraud dept. I also read someone else had this issue before I purchased but didn't think it would affect me. It did.. But regardless of how/why ANZ have irugs blacklisted the rugs arrived promptly and I am very happy with them.. If you're with ANZ.. Maybe choose to pay via PayPal until visa International removes irugs from whatever blacklist its associated with.

irugs.co.nz was the only online store where I could find a rug that was the pattern I was after and not too expensive, and I decided to give it a try. I read the reviews here and they were mostly bad, so I was aware it was risky (thank you to all the reviewers).
I placed my order on March 8, got a message from them that the estimated delivery date was March 17. But the rug came even earlier, and I'm happy with it.
It is AmazonBasics, polypropylene/cotton, made in Turkey. Looks really good.
It seems that the company sells different rugs from different places, and you never know what you will get (if at all). Knowing this you can decide whether you want to try your luck. Just mind that you probably won't be able to return it. This is why I took one star off.

I look at some of the reviews ,some good some bad. So I decided anyway to go ahead and order a rug. The tracking system was fantastic, it came 6 days from order. The rug was great, very happy with it. Order another one.

Supplied faulty goods and the seller won't refund without returning the item to the USA at my expense. Returns cost from £47.00 - £188.00 for a rug costing £129.00. The seller is not in the UK as suggested by their website. Basically its a scammer getting rid of faulty goods.
If you are having a problem with this company you need to speak to you bank/ credit card and inform them what has happened. I would recommend pointing them to this review page on Trustpilot.
I would also recommend filing a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission. They can be found from a google search. I hope this helps others scammed by this company.

This is not a family run NZ company. They DO NOT ship from Auckland but either the States or Switzerland - free shipping means it will cost you hundreds of dollars to ship back, if you do not like their rug. The rug I got (stupidly) does not look like as nice as the pictures. PLEASE do not buy from this company but support real local companies.

I bought a vintage overdyed rug from irugs.co.nz. The rug was over $2k, and I was nervous that the quality would not be good from a number of the reviews on trust pilot. Other vintage overdyed rugs are also around $4-6k in shops around Auckland, so I was skeptical of the price but thought it was worth trying given the saving.
The rug arrived today and it is beautiful, it looks exactly as it did online and we are over the moon with it. I'm so glad we took a risk.
I was expecting the rug to arrive sooner than it did, i swear i saw a banner stating 'ships today' or 'ships within 7 days' or something when i purchased it, but it did take around 4 weeks to come. This wasn't a problem for me, i just think they could have managed my expectations a little better hence only 4 stars.
The other slightly concerning thing is that my ANZ card got blocked immediately after my purchase as ANZ had irugz on a watch site for fraudulent activity. It took me about 4 days to get a replacement card.
All in all a few hiccups, but I do have a beautiful rug that will last me decades so overall very happy with the purchase.

It is now 4 weeks since returning the £260.00 rug and still no communication or refund. Very worrying.

Great rugs at an affordable price. Delivered quickly, very pleased with them and will definitely purchase from iRugs again.

I have ordered 2 rugs over the last 2 months. Great price, great quality. Excellent communication, delivered both times in 7 days from the US with tracking all the way - for FREE!!! Yes it’s not a NZ company which is a bit deceiving but I have no qualms about highly recommending.

Even they don’t deserve for 1 star, fraudsters. I believe they have warehouse in NZ and playing with you to not get returns. Not recommended at all. Buy locals.

Not a NZ company!!! Everything ships from USA or Switzerland and takes forever to get to NZ. They are truly misrepresenting themselves and that should be illegal. Buy local if you actually want to get your rug

Was a bit dubious after reading a couple of bad reviews. So pleased to say mine was a great experience all round. Thoroughly recommend them.

I have just purchased a large Persian rug for Nz $1400 . It arrived at my door and was very well packaged. I am absolutely thrilled with it. It is very clean and the colours are fabulous - no fading at all. I used the technology supplied which is very easy to use, to see what it would look like in our entrance area. This made it much easier to choose the best design and colours.
I found this company excellent to deal with and have no hesitation in recommending them. The best thing is that the duty and taxes are already paid for and included in the price. DHL were 5 star with delivery service.
