Overall the experience with them has been really good. They have been helpful with technical support and being able to provide the right parts for the project. We have been living with three Mr.Cool DIY systems now for almost two years now and so far so good. The installation was reasonably simple although mounting them to an outside wall is much easier than to an inside wall. Some sort of additional bends or couplers would be really useful for those situations. Other things I wish I knew about the DIY, our systems apparently l cannot use a remote Thermostat so you are stuck with the internal temp control which works ok but I don't find it to be particularly accurate, even with the app and calibration. I'm also not a big fan of the scheduling in the app it doesn't quite behave the way I would expect but that may just be me and the way I think about things. Finally, we did get a remote wireless thermostat with one of the units but it is pretty much pointless as it is battery powered and the batteries don't seem to last more than a month so it pretty must just hangs on the wall not doing anything.
But the units seem to be of excellent quality, they are very quiet and have performed very well for us and I am more than happy to tell people about the DIY system.

I was able to get the right part quickly found and a price quote provided by the Department answering my Phone Call. I was given very polite extra guidance by a CSR who took the initiative to call me back and help ensure I had a good experience. The Price was reasonable considering shipping was included. The emailed link made it quick and easy to follow-up in placing an order. Actual Part replacement was quick and easy, everything fit. Overall, No problems, No complaints.

Ingrams is the greatest
Ingrams is the greatest ! They are so helpful in answering any and all questions and I had many ! You just cant get that from the big box stores , I live in Pennsylvania and just got my second unit for another area of my home from them and they are in Kentucky! They are so knowledgeable , and the big box guy maybe going to paint and nails next ! He just doesnt know as much in my opinion .Any issues or questions you may have Ingrams people have the answers and help . If you're not happy for some reason , they dont stop until you are ! The people are knowledgeable, friendly , and all so patient , even if you have a ton of questions !!! I highly recommend them . You wont be sorry if you do . P.S. And The Mr.Cool is great too !

The first furnace I bought was great everything works fine. The second one is not working. I have contacted support several times and all I get is short unusable answers or no replies at all from tech support.
Update: after complaining on chat I got a response and they helped me get the until up and running… which was my fault, double check you wires for breaks after using a wire stripper on thermostat wiring.

An inability to get a part# from the service people here and at MrCool have led to a beyond disappointing customer service experience. Part #'s make things easier to look up and verify what is needed, and it was on the order taker's computer, she told me that but not the #. And it is on the receipt and the shipping papers. It's NOT TOP SECERETI
It took almost three full days to get anyone to either email or call me back, but that doesn't compare to the three months that i have been waiting on MrCool to respond.
We did get the part finely, and it only took three days shipping, amazing! Shipping is the Only reason i gave them the second star!
I see this as less than acceptable customer service, but i understand this is what Corp. América has come to.
DO NOT buy MrCool or deal with Ingrams if at all possible. If you must, pack a few days worth of food and cloths for the journey into CUSTOMER SEERVICE HELL!

Why I choose Ingram’s water and air with Mr Cool
The is the second unit that we have bought. The first was a 5 ton and this unit is a 3 ton. I saved lots of money being able to install the units myself. The first unit cools and heats a salon and has been doing a great job! The biggest selling point besides cost, being able to save on labor but the Ten year warranty on a self install not being a licensed HVAC person. In my state we can work on our own property without a license but you have to be licensed to handle the gases. Thanks to the no-vac-line, saves us the required gas handling licenses to say the least. I will stay with Ingram’s water and air as my dealer. Mr. Cool has the product but Ingram’s brings it all together. They are my deal for sure. I can even go to their distributor facilities and pic it up there on the spot. Saving me more time and money.
