I have just been to Jardine's in Leighton Buzzard for a pharmacy item. I had to wait for some time, and observed the assistant snapping at the customers, raising her voice to a customer whose fist language isn't English and being particularly dismissive to older people. She was also very short with me. The pharmacist and the person assisting him seemed distracted and broke off frequently from the task in hand to deal with other issues

Jardines Direct used to be okay, but now it's normal to wait a fortnight for prescription deliveries. I had to buy some diabetic test strips from Amazon because I ran out waiting for Jardines to deliver plus my insulin pen almost ran out. I dread to think of the elderly and vulnerable who might be going without medication because of the long wait.

The branch in Biggleswade can not cope under the strain - get some more staff and organise the system it clearly isn't efficient if you are waiting in queue with 20 people infront of you for 40 minutes to be told with 5 people still in front of you they won't be serving you as it's illegal after 6 o'clock...this is on going and not my first experience of this.

I have my perscription delivered and when I phoned asking when my perscription was going to arrive I was told Monday, Monday came no perscription when called was told pharmacist was on annual leave.
When used chemist next door to Gp practice told perscription would be available next day, next day no perscription.
This isn't good when on long term pain medication then run out which is no fault of your own and suffer withdrawal symtoms.
Would like a response from my review.
