I have received a Jono bread saw as a gift, as an avid sourdough home baker I can say it’s the best thing to slice crusty sourdough, so much better than a regular bread knife! The bread saw slices cleanly, without squashing the loaf, slices are uniform & straight & it is so easy to use! No more wonky slices that you can’t fit in the toaster!!
The build quality is wonderful, the wood is beautifully finished, the blade is so sharp. I like the magnetic guard also!

The jonoknife products are incredibly well considered - The knife is 10 times better than a standard bread knife - cutting incredibly cleanly with very little effort.
The breadboard too is excellent - especially the rubber feet that mean it never slips.
The board arrived slightly damaged in transit and the team were over-and-above helpful in sending me a replacement.

My brother was given one of these excellent knives and recommended it to me. I ordered another for my sister and made a mistake on her postcode. It was just great to see how efficiently this wonderful company dealt with the problem and ensured the knife was delivered. I can’t recommend the knife or the company enough ! Fantastic personalised service and I really really will be telling my friends to buy one !

My husband was given the Jono knife and board for Christmas which he loved as I make sourdough occasionally. He was so pleased with it that I decided to order another set for my friend who makes sourdough weekly. I know she is going to be thrilled to receive it as it makes cutting bread so much easier. We live in Spain so I did try to research getting something similar locally but nothing quite compared so I've ordered it to be delivered here.

I absolutely love my Jonoknife! I started baking sourdough during lockdown (like a lot of people) and found normal bread knives lacking when it came to slicing my loaves, The thin, sharp blade of the Jonoknife and comfortable wooden handle make it a joy to use and I can now get nice regular slices of sourdough that are not squashed like they were with the other knives

These knives are absolutely amazing, so sharp for cutting all sorts of bread including sourdough. They look and feel amazing to use.
I was introduced to these by a friend, and I now keep buying more as presents for all my friends and they love them. The Jono love is spreading!
The customer support is also brilliant if you need anything, I received a quick and personal response when I had to change an order, absolutely no problems. Would highly recommend!

A brilliant knife - a delight to use. Cutting neat thin slices is a doddle, even with squishy things like croissants.

I have literally just received my knife and board from the postman and I am beyond thrilled. Super quick delivery from a Saturday order. Safely and securely packed, it is a well designed piece of kit. Moreover, it delivers exactly what it promises: easy and accurate cutting of that sourdough crust. I just wanted to keep on going! I can't rate it highly enough.

It is disappointing that although the Jono knife cuts through the top of a loaf of bread without any difficulty it is no good at cutting the bottom crust, which always tears, leaving an uneven slice.

Purchased the xl jono knife and board, extremely happy with performance, blade cuts through my homemade wheat bread easily without mashing down loaf, a little expensive, however well worth the price, jono knife is highly recommended to breadmakers everywhere, high quality, I would order again

I LOVE jono knife. Bought it last year at bbc gardening world in Beaulieu and it’s the best thing I’ve bought as I make my own bread and it doesn’t collapse while fresh .

Absolutely LOVE my new bread saw! I had no idea it was missing from my life before I got it - it's so much easier to use, more accurate, beautiful and durable than a regular bread knife! Customer support was also great when I had a few questions beforehand.

Appalling Company !!!!
Told me they could make bespoke knives.
At length went to find out what I wanted, XL Oak, all agreed
Then laser breaks, so no engraving, BUT didn’t tell me it had ruined my knife!
Just sent out any old replacement without even consulting with me!
In fact sent the one I specifically had said I disked everything about it !
It was a Valentines gift, which now is ruined !
Complete lack of empathy and understanding
All they could say was “ there’s a procedure “
Clearly customer satisfaction ranks low on their list !!!
Such a shame as I had said I was going to order more as gifts for my children, well I certainly won’t be doing this !!!!

Firstly I don’t use the ‘F’ word ! So saying I said it multiple times is beyond preposterous !

I had explicitly said when you sent me the photos of said handles definitely NOT that one as I disliked it because it wasn’t soft and flowing , it was hard and angular !

You did NOT ever say the handle had been damaged, I had never asked you to engrave the handle , just the blade as you offered. So why the handle should break I don’t know, perhaps it’s the poor quality of wood you use ?????

I know of plenty other skilled wood craftsmen who have zero issues with wooden handles breaking , they clearly know their product well, unlike yourselves perhaps???

If the engraving is such an issue for yourselves then perhaps the wisest option is NOT to offer it to customers in the first place !
However seeing as you did offer it, you did say you could do this , then I’m afraid the onus lies with yourselves to follow through what you promise, if you fail you can not expect a customer to be happy with that , especially as it was a special gift
And because you DID say you could do this and you FAILED to follow through your promise, you categorically sent the item I had expressed my utmost dislike for and why , I have been left with no choice BUT to leave a negative review!
Simply because:
* you sent an item I had said I disliked immensely
* you failed to engrave despite claiming you could
* you failed to fulfill any of the requirements you maintained you could
* you ruined a very personal and special gift / occasion
I trust this helps to clarify me review about you and why !!!!

Just thought I’d let know that I’m super pleased with my knife. Here in France we take our bread very seriously and it’s perfect for the task!
