Poor customer service
If I could give customer service a zero I would. Kizik has a knack for losing shoes between handoff with USPS. All they can say is we don't have your shoes in stock any more and we're sorry. NEVER AGAIN KIZIK. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST.
Love the product, but very disappointed with customer support
I really like Kizik shoes — they’re comfortable, stylish, and perfect as gifts. I did receive a discount code once in the past, but couldn’t use it at the time because the style I wanted was out of stock.
Recently, I signed up again with two different email addresses while trying to order a pair for my mother’s birthday. I never received a welcome code, so I spent over a week reaching out through multiple channels — email, contact form, Instagram, and finally live chat — just to get help.
By the time someone finally responded with a discount code, I had already placed my order without it, because I couldn’t wait any longer for the gift to arrive. The code I was given is only valid for 7 days — and I was told it was a one-time exception that won’t be extended or reissued.
So after all the effort, I’m left with a discount I can’t use and the knowledge that I likely won’t be able to get another one in the future, even though I never actually used my original code.
This has been a really disappointing experience. I love the product, but the customer service made me feel like my time and loyalty didn’t matter. I sincerely hope Kizik improves their support and takes this feedback seriously — I would love to keep buying from them, but this kind of service makes it very hard to stay loyal.
Most uncomfortable I ever bought
Over the phone they asurede their shoes are perfect for diabetics. Ya.
Had to call them 5 days after I placed the order to get it moving.
When I finally got the shoes they were unwearable...never had such uncomfortable shoes.
Back they go.
Average quality shoes, pricy but convenient to wear
Item was out of stock but they have an alert feature on their website to let you know when they are in stock again which I took advantage of. When I ordered them it only took a few days for the shoes to arrive and I got alerts about the tracking too which was great. This is my third pair of Kiziks. They only last me about a year so I would rate the quality only average. I buy these simply for the ease of putting them on because I'm older now plus it's more conducive to my lifestyle as I have to take my shoes on and off a lot. I had two pairs of Athens and now I'm trying the Wasatch. I'm hoping they last longer. My only gripe about this footwear is the price. They are actually way too expensive for what they're worth. Like I said, I only buy them for the convenience and we all know that we pay for convenience, so I can live with it but otherwise, they are not worth what they charge. $280 CAD

I waited almost a month for my order to arrive, their 'tracking' told me it was delivered, but it never got here. DID NOT RECEIVE IT. They are big fat liars, and cheats, and I should know better than to buy ANYTHING that ships from CHINA. DON'T DO IT.
Shoddy construction, poor customer service
I've bought several pairs of shoes from them and in general I've been satisfied. However, one pair, that I've ONLY worn in the house, showed lots of fraying at the lip. In my state there's an Implied Warranty of Merchantability, which means that the item has to behave as it should for 4 years from purchase as long as you haven't misused it. Does wearing a shoe count as misuse? They offered me a 15% discount on a future purchase. By saying the timeframe is outside the limit for Implied Warranty and offering a small discount, they have lost me as a customer.
Kizik boots
Bought kizik boots and in less than 5 months both boots have torn at big toe seem. Customer service responded but says it is not a defect and will not replace them. Too expensive for 5 months of occasional use. Will not buy again or recommend.
MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT
Really disappoint with the pair I received today. There’s 2 inches of rubber sticking out at the heel which is ridiculous looking. Their older shoes were way better. None of their new styles come in wide width. This is strange considering it’s the hands free and wide widths that they advertised at the start of their business. There shoes are now like wearing 5” platforms which are ridiculously heavy. I believe the the focus of kiziks has now changed from a functional comfort and nice looking shoe to younger versions which are 3” high, run narrow in the width and big in the length. I paid $161.00 for these Monaco shoes! I could have bought two pairs of sketchers hands free which are genuinely comfy and come in all widths for each style. I’m not about to throw good money after bad on kiziks anymore. Disappointed and done!
I love this company
I have to say that the negative reviews surprise me. I found Kizik for my husband (during covid) when they weren’t as well known. My husband is a shoe breaker because he won’t put the effort in to tie/untie them. These were a game changer. My whole family now has multiple pairs of these shoes. They are all amazing and very durable because my husband and children are brutal on their shoes. They have held up so well. The ONLY reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it appears that they are starting to phase out larger kid sized shoes (my kids are sizes 3 and 4 respectively) and it’s really upsetting. I’ve also had to return and exchange multiple times and it was ZERO issue. It’s all online and a quick transaction to drop off at a UPS store and then the send the new pair. Super simple. The rewards program is great. The socks are great. I just can’t say enough. I feel like the negative reviews below are trolls because I have purchase at least 25 pairs of shoes/boots from this company in the last 5 years and have been thrilled with every interaction I’ve had. If Kizik reads this PLEASE populate larger kids sized shoes. My kids love theirs so much
Treated shabbily by an ungrateful company... Buyer beware!!
I've been a faithful customer but I guess not a valued one. I've purchased over 20 pairs of shoes in the last 2 years and the last pair were boots. In less than 30 day the tie hook on the boot pull off and the seams started to fray. They couldn't give me a replacement because they were out of stock so they gave me a warranty promo code for 169.00. First they said I had to use it in 6 months knowing the boots would not be available in 6 months. So i bought a pair a shoes for 139.00. Later i tried to purchase a pair of socks and they said the code was invalid that i used it already. Whan i asked what happened to teh remaining 30.00 they said it was a one time use, even if they never mentioned it. Rude and unhelpful. This is what happens when a company starts out popular but blows it because they have no clue how to treat or keep their customers. I'll never buy another pair a shoes from them. If you want to be treated shabbily by an ungrateful company be my guest but I would stay away from Kizik shoes!!

Kizik: the WORST customer service
Kizik is hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. When you start to ask questions, they will just stop communicating. I am still trying to exchange my shoes (I don't even want my money back, I just want a bigger size). Their meant to be all about "frictionless"... trying to get any help is coated in friction.

I have bought 5 pairs because I like how they feel in the beginning but LORD THE SOLES ARE TRASH. Do not waste your money, they don't offer replacements and for awhile had them on the website but never had them in stock. Do not buy these, like others have said.. The soles wear SO FAST and while you can buy different brands, its not going to fit the same as you'll have to cut them down. Buy better brands with better solutions to their cheap products.
Good shoes but...
I started buying Kizik shoes just over a year ago. The first two pairs were great. Easy to slip into and out of, very comfortable and, even though I wear them daily, they are still in good shape. I'm an active guy for my age (71). I live near the mountains and I like to hike, so I bought a pair of Wasatch. From the minute I put them on they squeaked when I walked, both pair, loudly. I tried powder, a thin layer then a ton. Still squeaked. I tried Vaseline, Still squeaked. I emailed Kizik and they basically said "tough luck" no returns for squeaking. So, now I have two $150 shoes that sit in my closet all the time doing nothing. So, caveat emptor, Kizik, good shoes mostly, ZERO service and concern for the customer!
Bad quality: Sole worn out after 30 days
I’ve had the shoes for just two months, and the interior is already showing wear. When I reached out, I was told that I’m outside the warranty and offered a mere 10% off a new pair. After doing some research, it’s clear this issue has been ongoing for years, yet the company hasn’t taken any steps to revamp their product. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a company with such a strong concept fail so badly on quality control, especially when charging a premium price.
Wrong size
Placed order early Dec., received shoes early Jan. Slow! The shoes were marked the size I ordered but I could not wear them, too small. I compared the physical size of the shoes with (same size) others I have, the Kizik shoes were clearly much smaller than marked (about 1.5 to 2 sizes smaller). Despite what they say on their site, I had to pay the return fees - no way would they accept the return at their cost, even though they had clearly sent me a 'faulty' product. Total ripoff/scam - do not purchase from this business!

Highly disappointing experience, avoid at all costs
I had a highly disappointing experience with Kizik and cannot recommend their products or customer service.
1) Chaotic Refund Process: Despite receiving notifications that my refunds were "processed successfully," it took multiple follow-ups and over two weeks to get the refunds. Even then, refunds were staggered, with some taking much longer than promised. Their system errors and inability to track returns accurately caused significant delays.
2) Product Quality Issues: The pair of shoes I kept began falling apart after less than 10 wears. The leather on the back peeled off, revealing poor craftsmanship and flimsy adhesive. This kind of quality is unacceptable for shoes priced at $120, resembling something you’d expect from a $15 pair.
3) Merged Accounts and Data Breach: Kizik inexplicably merged my account with another customer's, exposing their personal information to me. This alarming data breach raises serious concerns about their handling of customer privacy.
4) Unresponsive and Disorganized Customer Support: Responses to my inquiries were delayed, with excuses like team members being on holiday or unexpectedly out of the office. Basic issues required multiple follow-ups, and I was left waiting for answers far too often.
5) Warranty Refund Issues: Even after identifying a manufacturing defect in their product, the resolution process was unnecessarily slow, with repeated apologies but minimal proactive effort to make things right.
Between poor product quality, significant privacy issues, and disorganized customer service, Kizik has failed on every level. Their shoes may look appealing, but they’re not worth the frustration. Avoid at all costs.
Avoid - Company And Products Not Good
I had a pair of these shoes tear and fray after little use and the company had no interest in honoring their warranty. They said it was normal wear and tear, even though the damage was on the top of my sneaker, in an area that is never touched by the ground or my foot. I have numerous pairs of Kiziks, many much older than these, and none show any wear in that spot because it's not a spot where wear and tear occurs. Pick shoes from a company that stands by their products. I wish I had read more of these reviews before buying these.
