Due to some difficult personal circumstances on the sale of the house, at no time did I feel that I was under pressure Melissa was interested in how I was having to navigate and that made me feel less stressed.
I really don’t think I could have managed it without knowing that what seemed like a massive problem after a quick email or call Melissa would calmly answer my question and always reassured me that it’s going to be ok.

I honestly cannot thank Angela enough for everything she did during our house purchase.

From day one, she was approachable, down to earth, and spoke to us like a normal person rather than hiding behind legal jargon. Communication was excellent throughout, and she always took the time to explain things clearly and keep us updated.

I must have emailed her ten times a day at some points, especially as we got closer to completion, but she never made me feel like a nuisance. She was always patient, professional, and quick to respond.

When things became stressful and delays from other parties threatened our completion, Angela went above and beyond. She chased relentlessly, kept pushing things forward, and worked incredibly hard right up to the final hurdle. It genuinely felt like she cared about getting us into our new home as much as we did.

Buying and selling a house can be one of the most stressful experiences, but having Angela on our side made a huge difference. Her dedication, communication, and determination were outstanding.

After some really frustrating experiences elsewhere during our house-buying journey, KJD Law were an absolute breath of fresh air. From start to finish, they were incredibly communicative, approachable and proactive. Every question we had was answered promptly and we always felt like our concerns were being taken seriously rather than brushed aside.

A special mention has to go to Rebekah, who was absolutely fantastic. She was always lovely to speak to, kept us updated every step of the way and genuinely understood how stressful buying a house can be. What impressed us most was her dedication to getting things over the line. She even helped sort out our completion on one of her annual leave days, which really shows how committed she is to her clients and managed to get us all completed with a phone call to pick up the keys before 10:00am!

At no point did we feel like we were being left in the dark. If there was an update, we got it. If we had a concern, it was acknowledged and dealt with. They genuinely got things done rather than passing people from pillar to post.

Buying a house is one of the most stressful things we've ever done, but KJD Law made the legal side of the process feel as smooth and straightforward as possible. We completed on our first home this week and we're incredibly grateful for all of their hard work.

I have just completed a shared ownership resale purchase, it should have been impossible the previous owner had passed away a few years ago and several sales had fallen through during that period. This was in my opinion due to a selling conveyancer who were inadequate but the other buyers didn’t have Nerys Crompton & KJD law. Form missing plans to last minute rent arrear bills coming up Nerys managed to negotiate her way through them all. I have no idea how she did this and I was ready to give up several times but she got us there and I can’t thank her enough. I would highly recommend KJD to anyone looking to purchase a home.

Helen Baldwin at KJD Law has recently done my dads will and sorted POA, from our first email enquiry, to the completed documents she has made both seamless. KHD are excellent and local. They recently handled the conveyancing on a property I was selling.
Once the online forms are completed they keep you fully informed every step of the way. The cost is very competitive too.
Particularly worthy of praise is Leigh Rothwell who kept me informed every step of the way and made life easy for me. When a document issue arose Leigh suggested a quick and easy solution to keep the process on track ensuring swift completion.
