Johanna Jones of KJ Smith Beaconsfield branch has been of great help to us over the past two years with regards to the payment of inheritance tax due on our late father's estate following the passing of our stepmother. The process was more complex than usual as IHT needed to be paid by both our father's Will Trust and our stepmother's Estate and there were lengthy delays by HMRC. Johanna liaised with the solicitor working on behalf of our stepsisters and, as well as submitting all our paperwork to HMRC, provided additional advice to their solicitor. I arranged a free initial consultation with JK Smith Solicitors and provided detailed information in advance, including forms and supporting details requested by the firm. Unfortunately, I was only informed the day before my appointment that they were unable to deal with my type of issue.
