Hi, my name is Tristen and I am the operator here at Kongo. I want to personally respond to this and I sincerely apologize for your experience.

Regarding the pricing change we did send out emails notifying our customers ahead of time but I am truly sorry if that did not reach you. You are absolutely right that receiving a price increase without any notice is unacceptable and I completely understand your frustration.

I want to give you a little clarity on what changed. Previously our pricing included a monthly membership fee on top of medication costs that would increase with each dose. So customers could go from $79 to $109 to $139 month over month as their dose went up. We removed the membership fee entirely and locked everything into one simple flat rate that never increases regardless of dosage. The goal was to actually bring more transparency and predictability to our pricing going forward.

Regarding your order still not shipping by the end of July that is also completely unacceptable and I am sorry.

Please reach out to us directly at support@kongo.care and I will personally make sure you are taken care of right away. I also want to include a discount on your next order as an apology for everything you have been through. You deserve better than this experience and I am committed to making it right.

Everything you described is accurate and I am truly sorry. The delays, the miscommunication between our teams, and the pharmacy situation were all unacceptable failures on our part and I take full responsibility for that.

Since coming on board I have made the following changes to make sure this does not happen to another customer. We have overhauled our customer support structure with dedicated response protocols so no ticket goes unanswered. We have improved the communication pipeline between our clinical and customer support teams. We are conducting a thorough review of our pharmacy partners and have already begun rerouting orders away from pharmacies that do not meet our standards. We have also rebuilt our order tracking and fulfillment process so customers always have accurate real time information.

I know these words mean very little given your experience and I completely understand that you would not return. But I want you to know that your review is not falling on deaf ears. It is directly informing how we build this company better.

I am sorry we failed you. We will do better.

Hi, my name is Tristen and I am the operator here at Kongo. I want to personally take accountability for your experience.

Regarding the pricing I want to be fully transparent. Previously our structure included a $20 monthly membership fee plus medication costs that increased with each dose. So a customer could start at $79, then $109, then $139 as their dose went up month over month. We removed the membership fee entirely and locked everything into one flat rate of $119 that never increases regardless of dosage. I understand that still felt like a jump and I sincerely apologize it was not communicated to you ahead of time.

Regarding the delay you are completely right and I own that. The pharmacy bug that affected your order combined with our slow communication was unacceptable, especially when it caused you to miss scheduled doses. We have since overhauled our pharmacy routing process and raised our communication standards so no patient is left without answers.

I am truly sorry we let you down. You deserved better and we are working every day to make sure this does not happen again.

Everything you described is accurate and I am deeply sorry. The lack of communication, unreturned calls, delayed emails, and the pricing change without proper notification are all failures on our part and I own every single one of them.

Regarding the pricing I want to be fully transparent. Under our old structure Tirzepatide started at $138 per month but because the dosing increases for Tirzepatide are more significant than other treatments, the price would increase by $30 or more with each dose increase. So a customer could go from $138 to $168, then $198, then $229 month over month as their dose went up. This was causing serious confusion and frustration for our customers. We made the decision to remove that structure entirely and lock in one flat rate of $229 per month regardless of dosage so customers never see another unexpected price increase again. I understand that transition was handled poorly and you absolutely should have been notified well in advance. That is on us completely.

On the communication side we were severely understaffed during that period. Since then we have rebuilt our customer support structure, established clear response time standards, and are actively hiring dedicated support staff to make sure no email or voicemail goes unanswered.

I understand you are done with us and I respect that completely. You gave us more chances than we deserved and I am truly sorry we failed you.
