I’ve been using Kool Cakes Bakery for nearly 14 years now and I’ve never had a bad experience. Their fresh cream cakes are the best I’ve ever had. However, the cake I ordered this weekend for a little girls birthday did not meet my expectations. The toppings were wrong. The message was in icing even though I had requested jam. The sponge was dry and everyone was rather disappointed including the birthday girl. Hence I was compelled to give this rather harsh review. Sorry Kool cakes but you really need to sort your cakes out or you will start losing valuable loyal customers.

The cake was of poor quality and tasteless. Very few fruits.
I used to order from a different bakery for the last 12 years. On this occasion I changed bakery and all my guests commented that the cakes we had on previous birthdays were better.

I ORDERED THIS BLUE CREAM CAKE FROM THE BAKERY FOR MY SONS FIRST BIRTHDAY.. IT APPEAARED BO BEAUTIFUL, BUT WHEN AS SOON AS WE CUT IT AND GAVE IT TO EVERYONE THE CAKE LEFT THE BLUE COLOUR EVERYWHERE, ON THE HANDS, FACE SIMPLY WHEREVER YOU WERE ABLE TO GET CREAM ON.

ALL guests complained, as it ruined their makeup especially ladies and i was given peace of their mind. It was very insulting as no one could actually comment on the taste as they were so bothered about the colour stains left behind..

Amazing. I’m not a fan of cakes but Kool Cakes have made me love cakes.

I ordered my cake on line, as i have done a few times now. I find it easy and simple to do. The cakes are fabulous to look at and taste wonderful. Thank You.

Excellent Cream cake, very well presented and tasty!

I ordered from Koolcakes for the third time. The first two times we received amazing cakes but we were not happy with the third order. However, Ashit, one of the founders and directors of KoolCakes immediately rang me to try and understand what the issue was and explained that their customer service and quality was paramount and he would check with his staff what went wrong. They have stringent controls in place and he will make sure that no further issues will arise again. All in all a good experience and I definitely recommend KoolCakes.

we always order cakes from here never had amy problems, however on this occasion we had nuts for the first and the nuts tasted like they were out of date or have been sitting there for months and unfortunantly ruined the taste of the cake.
