I had the older version of the software. After purchasing the new version, I have been unable to open any of the files or the folders.
I now have to uninstall the new version and reinstall the old version to see if the files will be decrypted.

Customer service is abysmal
Multiple attempts at correspondence over a month failed. I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 and needed to reload the Kruptos2 Pro I had already purchased. I ended up having to buy it again due to a complete lack of response. It works well but customer service is abysmal.

Although I really like this product and have used an earlier version for years I only rate at 3 star because I sent multiple emails and even Twitter post trying to get a response from anyone on providing me an upgrade coupon! The sales site has a spot to input one and was under the understanding that moving up from Ver5 to new Ver7 I would qualify... out of desperation of no responses I went ahead and bought the newest Ver7 at full price ;-(

Thanks for this tool. It was first recommended to me in 2007 and has not failed yet in any manner. I especially like the ability to quickly encrypt an entire local folder with its sub-folders.

I have used Kruptos 2 for a long time
I have used Kruptos 2 for a long time. Recently, I have had problems with a couple of files, which I cannot decrypt: they show "this file is not encrypted". I have requested help from Kruptos but without an answer.

Bought but then wanted refund under their "30 day money back guarantee" promise. No response from customer service, so make sure you do want it before buying.

Kruptos 2: An outstanding encryption program!
Kruptos 2 works easily and quickly. Its encryption standard is at the same high level as government encryption and ensures your data is absolutely safe from prying eyes.
I contacted customer service for assistance in changing over to a new computer and they were very helpful and very nice to deal with.
I recommend Keuptos 2 without hesitation.
