I am very happy with my purchases for my daughter Philippine Lesieur. what I deeply regret is having to pay such a high tax when the clothes are made in Spain and you could charge them from Spain!!

Yes, all products are produced in Spain, however, they are shipped from the UK. Unfortunately, due to the new customs regulations as a result of Brexit, VAT is now applicable on orders from the UK to the EU.
We do make sure to notify all our customers by email that these charges may be applicable when their order arrives in their destination country.
These regulations are very new and as a company we are working very hard to make some amendments to our website to make it easier for our customers based in the EU to shop online with us. We are hoping for all these extra charges to be seen upfront on the checkout page to prevent any surprises when the order reaches the destination country.
We really appreciate your feedback as we are always finding ways to improve as a company, and we hope this will not discourage you from shopping with us again in the future.

Awful shipping policy for non British…
Awful shipping policy for non British destinations… the eshop cannot provide any info on import costs taxes. Smaller British brands seem to navigate the post brexit era in a most efficient way.

We understand the frustration with the customs duties between the UK and the EU and as a priority this year, we are looking to introduce a tax and duties calculator to our checkout page so that our customers can see all the fees at the checkout. We are so disappointed
We are so disappointed - absolutely beautiful clothes but none of them fit. Our daughter is 5 months old, we purchased 6 month old sizing but they're so small we can't even get her into them. Such a shame. Definitely recommend buying a size up.

Just what I expected
The sweater I ordered came as pictured, quickly and the packaging was clean and in good order. I plan to order from La Coqueta again. I would love to see more measurements online since children, like adults don't always fit into age-size categories.
