Great response from the team . Would definitely recommend!

I have never been to Sri Lanka and knew very little people who can recommend a travel agent from there. After some research, I chose Lakpura from several companies I found in the internet. I was assigned to an agent who has been very helpful and very personal along the way, 100% gave his best effort to make everything work out. We had a very good trip, all the hotels went smoothly, right down to small details of hiring a naturalist to accompany us to Horton Plains, and my husband playing golf in the Nuwara Eliya golf club..
my word of advice, the investment you make for a wonderful holiday is a good collaboration between your agent and yourself. Self study and research on the areas, and reading reviews and forums will go a long way to help yourself and your agent plan the trip. The agent helps you calculate the time of travel and you can review the quality of time you will have. Its hard to spend more than 60% of the time in the car and rushing.. Do ask a lot of questions, right down to what kind of seats you prefer for the train rides. Give your agent a profile of yourself as a traveler.
Always bring a good guide book, so you can also have an overall knowledge and you can make new (but reasonable) decisions while you are on the road...
Lakpura is a trustworthy company to deal with, they are good with making land arrangements.

The reservation I made through online form and the reservation confirmation I received later was different (timing of safari). In addition, the selection of number of participants and jeeps in the online form is confusing.
But the safari itself was nice with good jeep and driver.

We had the privilege to meet Ashan. He is a very helpful driver fully committed to our satisfaction.
This is key for an amazing journey in Sri-Lanka.

Good prices. Prompt attention.

Bad experience with the Esala Perahrra tickets. We paid 250 dollars por premium seats and there were the worst. I called sevaral times to the office and they didn't solve anything. Not recommended at all.

I found my that booking my hotel with Lakpura fast and efficient and they looked after my questions without hesitation

Top communication. Best Seats

Very helpful and friendly. The car was very clean. Sumith suggested always interesting plans but was happy to let us plan our own itinerary

The safari experience was really nice.
Things I didn't appreciate:
- the price which was higher than the average;
- When booking the trip, I mentioned that we didn't need a transfer from and to the park as we thought there will be a significant difference of price, therefore we asked for the price accordingly. We were not told that the price would be the same even if we have or not the transfer. Thanks to our guide in Sri Lanka, we were finally drop off at our accomodation by your driver.

The driver was fantastic he knew where all the good parts of the site where and he was happy to push his vehicle right to the front so we got the best possible views of the animals. He was knowledge and informative and pointed out everything from birds to curry leaves we saw loads of elephants, buffalo, crocodiles and deers to name a few.

I'd highly recommended the site and the driver

We really enjoyed the safari in Yala Nat. Park. All representatives from Lakpura made this safari enjoyable for us. We will highly recommend others to use this company

Booked an airport transfer from Colombo - no one turned up, there was no contact number to call to find out what was going on.

Refund was issued quickly though.
