I've worked with EliteIB and Lanterna for many years, pre and post COVID, as far as online tutors go, this I would say from a tutors' perspective is up there with the best. Before EliteIB merged with Lanterna I found the personal service I received excellent, there were a few teething issues with the merger but I now feel that the best and the not so good have made this an even better organisation. I enjoy working with them and have always found them to be fair especially in terms of providing a good fit for both student and tutor.

We have been extremely impressed with the service provided by Lanterna. They responded quickly when we requested a tutor, and the match was perfect. The tutoring has been fantastic, with the tutor always available to support our child, who was struggling with mathematics. The classes are open and very much adapted to my individual needs. Finally, I am not afraid to ask a question, as I know that my tutor will explain the material to me in the best possible way.
After only 2 classes I have managed to improve my physics grade from a 6 to a 7, but more importantly, I have managed to understand the material, which I think is the most important point. I cannot recommend Lanterna highly enough.

Lanterna is well suited to my need. They strive to put me in the best conditions possible at any time. If i don't feel comfortable with the tutors they have connected me with they would connect me with another one which is more suited to my way of learning. The current tutors i have are understanding and I feel comfortable asking questions or for resources that would help me outside of the classes.

At the beginning, booking the first few hours was a bit bumpy. However, I immediately received 1:1 support until all questions were answered and all lessons were booked. Very helpful, always friendly and very competent support. The first few hours were also very convincing and were already very helpful.

I had an amazing experience working with Anne-Lise. Each lesson was tailored to what I needed and wanted to work on, and I got the most out of each session with her. My Norwegian skills and grades improved drastically after I started taking lessons from her. She is an amazing tutor and a great person who I found easy and fun to work with, and I think it is because of her that I was able to course through my final exams with ease!
