Got caught out in the small print. Who would have thought a legal company catching you out with a monthly fee 7 days after using there services. Very disappointing but not surprised beware when using this service. Cancel before the end of 7days. Bunch of robbing barstools

The free AST was offered on line but
The ‘free’ AST was offered on line but when it opened the charge was £1.59. I paid this but couldn’t download the contract. I then got charged £34.90 on 5th Feb which I contacted them for a refund and another £34.90 had been deducted today!. I have already informed my credit card company and if I don’t get a refund will start a dispute.

Scammers!!
This is the email that I have sent this company today. Reading the reviews I have since discovered that they are based in Spain though have set themselves up as UK based. I will update should I receive a refund. Otherwise I will continue to post about their dreadful service and non transparent grey print. As a professional Data Protection Officer I am prepared to take this as far as I can.
I responded to an advert for your services and entered into your 'free trial' which I was then duped into paying £1.59 for. You have now taken £34.90 from my account which I have not agreed to.
I request immediate cancellation of this account.
I require the £34.90 on my account to be transferred back into my balance immediately.
I require that no further monies are taken from my account
I request erasure of all of my details to be removed after this has happened.
I did not agree to any further payments. I did not utilise your services after the first time. I cannot access this account. It may have been set up on one of two email addresses, but the 'forgotten password' option is not working on either.
The two email addresses that this could potentially have been set up under are as follows:

Unauthorised charge after one-off purchase
I paid £1.59 on 19/01/26 for what was presented as a one-off will template from LawDistrict UK.
I did not agree to or authorise any subscription or recurring payment. Despite this, a further £34.90 was taken from my card on 26/01/26 without my consent.
When I logged into my account, the only document visible was the original free will template. There was no clear subscription shown and no additional service corresponding to this charge.
For clarity, I have screenshots of my account and transaction history showing this, in case there is any later dispute or change.
The matter has been raised with my card provider, who has treated the charge as unauthorised and blocked my card as a precaution. I have also since been informed that the merchant is Spain-based, which was not made clear at the point of purchase.
I would advise others to check their card statements carefully after making any payment.
When I logged into my account, the only document visible was the original free will template. There was no clear subscription shown and no additional service corresponding to this charge.
For clarity, I have screenshots of my account and transaction history showing this, in case there is any later dispute or change.

Their flippant reply shows absolutely that this is a form of scam
When logged in it shows the account as "7 day access at 1.59GBP" and has an OPTION of premium access at 39.90GBP which is clearly shown as not subscribed but as a option
I bring to attention that although LawDistrict think they are being clever with their reply about small print and further subscription if not cancelled that this is tosh as although premium is 39.90GBPon website they have charged 34.90GBP
I have had this successfully charged back through Barclaycard as this is a known issue with companies that portray themselves as UK based but are registered out of the country believing they are exempt from UK laws and regulations .. which in itself is a false belief when companies operate in this manner
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!
