I cannot recommend this hospital enough! They guided me through what was going to happen from start to finish and everyone was so friendly. I am a very anxious person so I needed more reassurance than the ‘average’ person but that was no bother for Leeds Hospital. Thankyou the team at Leeds Hospital you have made my experience stress free and easier for me to go for another procedure like this!

I had the open septo-rhinoplasty surgery done 4 weeks ago. From my consultation to my surgery day and after care the whole team at Leeds private hospital have been absolutely amazing. This was my first ever surgery and I was extremely anxious and nervous however, the reassurance the staff provide really does put you at ease. The whole team at Leeds private hospital are very kind, professional and caring. I would highly recommend Leeds private hospital for any cosmetic surgery 😊

I had a consultation this morning with the Practice Manager which was ok but half an hour later, I received a summary of the consultation via email which contained a load of made up and inaccurate information and replies to questions that I hadn’t even been asked, let alone answered, one of which was stating I have no allergies - when I do. This isn’t something a clinic should just guess at. It could be the difference between life and death! Also, it said I had been examined, which clearly I hadn’t as it was by FaceTime and some of the recommendations weren’t even suited to what I require, so was obviously a generic copy and paste. The most ridiculous thing for me was that they got my name wrong! I was very keen to go ahead before the consultation as had seen good things on Instagram but now, I definitely won’t be doing so. If they get the basics wrong - how do I know they won’t make a mistake whilst I am being operated on? I would not recommend based on this.

I booked a consultation via WhatsApp and was informed I could have a free, face-to-face consultation with Dr. Arshad. However, I never received an email confirmation until I followed up myself, which was already concerning. When I finally received an email, it stated I had a video consultation booked—not what I arranged. I had to chase this up again to get it corrected to a face-to-face appointment.

When I arrived at the hospital, I was met by closed gates and had to wait several minutes without any response after pressing the buzzer. I eventually had to call the clinic directly, navigate through an automated message, and request to be let in—this felt disorganised and unwelcoming.

After checking in, I waited for around 30 minutes in the reception with little communication from staff. Eventually, a woman called me into a consultation room. She then told me that if I wanted to see Dr. Arshad, I would need to book another consultation and pay £250—apparently what I had booked was just a “pre-consultation.” This was never communicated to me at any point.

I took a day of annual leave and travelled specifically to Leeds to see Dr. Arshad, whom I admire greatly. Unfortunately, due to the lack of transparency, poor communication, and misleading information from staff, I left with nothing but wasted time and frustration. I will now be pursuing surgery elsewhere and, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Leeds Private Hospital.

*update responding to Leeds Private Hospital* I have provided photographic evidence of my consultation booking and WhatsApp communication. I cannot add this to my truspilot review, but you are welcome to verify the same on my google review. This confirms that my review is genuine. My consultation date was 28th July 2025 at 11am. I came with my mum. The lady who I had my ‘consultation’ with spent the entire consultation speaking about her own rhinoplasty which she had done by Dr Arshad and how it has changed her life. I barely got a word in and came out knowing more about this ladies nose than I did my own! There was also CCTV in the consultation room where I could see Dr Arshad performing surgery on someone live. That was a very unusual setup. I wouldn’t want my surgery to be broadcast around the hospital for people to see. I have since had rhinoplasty by an alternative surgeon (Jeethandra Rao) and cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone else who is seeking rhinoplasty in the North of England.

Booked a consultation, waited to receive a call never got one. Re arranged my call and still never received a call. My second call was booked for 11am, I got a message at 11am to explain they were running 15-30 minutes behind which was fine as I was aware but still at 12:15 I never received anything. I messaged to explain I couldn’t wait any longer and I felt that it was very poor of them and the response I got was “no problem”

I had upper eyelids and this place is just so amazing…the location, the experience, the bedside manner and the surgical quality. My daughter had breast surgery with another clinic and it was so very hospital like … Leeds Private was so not that… I listened to music, snuggled under a furry throw and the surgeon chatted to me throughout and the owner actually popped in for a chat. Loved it! You guys have got it so right … can’t recommend this place enough.

I have had an absolutely fantastic experience at Leeds Private Hospital. From the very initial consultation to the procedure and aftercare the journey has been fantastic and the patient care is second to none. I am so pleased with the results, truly life changing. Dr Arshad an absolutely fantastic surgeon and the whole team are so welcoming and put you at ease. Thank you Dr Arshad, Sommiya, Adam and all the staff! Had a wonderful experience from start to finish and I will definitely be going back to Leeds Private Hospital for any further surgeries!

I cannot express how exceptional the service I have experienced has been from the start. Absolutely 2nd to none and will highly highly recommend. I had eyelid lifting surgery and although I was anxious, they were so attentative to my needs and reassured me throughout, even playing my choice of music during the procedure!
All this in such beautiful surroundings. They sent me home with my pack of meds which were explained in detail and also came with a detailed explanation incase i wasnt listening. They have checked in regularly since (even though it was only yesterday), they are so thorough and 5 star in my eyes. Thank you!

Incredible experience from start to finish! The staff at Leeds Private hospital are some of the kindest, most compassionate people I’ve ever met. They made me feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire process.
Joni always has a smile and kind words to share which was lovely.
Mr Spyrou was not only incredibly skilled but also took the time to listen and ensure me every step of the way. Mr Spyrou has a place in my heart.
Sommiya is a inspiring and wonderful person. Her leadership and heart are reflected in every detail of this clinic. I’m beyond grateful to have found them. Truly life-changing care. I would recommend to anyone.

Edit - they gave a response at the time I first wrote this and have now changed to say they have no record of me being there. That sounds about right - their communication and organisational skills were so poor!
Original post: This place seems shambolic. Persistently very poor and unprofessional communication, a very high quote not in line with what I was told before the consultation, including £2.5k for one overnight stay (!) Fees are not transparent. Requesting (which I refused) for me to read, fill in and and sign huge amounts of paperwork (well over 100 pages) on arrival before even meeting Mr Arshad and at a time well past when I was due to meet with him. I should have trusted my gut when the communication was so poor before going to the consultation, instead of wasting my time and money travelling there. In my opinion, they need to massively up their game if they want to compete with professional, respectful, transparent and client-centred establishments.

I had upper and lower blepharplasty at Leeds Private Hospital and it has completely ruined my life.
The recovery process was horrendous and I now have extreme lower lid retraction and rounded eyes, mostly likely caused by the removal of too much skin.
I would advise anyone considering the procedure to use a specialist oculoplastic surgeon not a general plastic surgeon.

From start to finish a positive experience. The staff were friendly and professional. The environment is clean and relaxing. Most importantly, the results of the surgery is excellent. Would recommend!

I had a deep plane facelift & upper/lower blepharoplasty April 2024. They got me in within 5 days of consult. Everything went fine & i was told that if any problems occur during healing they would be rectified later on. Several things did occur, 1 being due to a rather large incision they made from the outer corner of my eye. I spent months tyring to get these things dealt with. Eventualy, after getting a bit heavy, they did a 2nd blepharoplasty which made it a bit better but i was left with 1 eye bigger than the other & still the other problems. I have tried & tried to get them to listen to me but its just been arguments & gaslighting. I am now in a position where iv given up & i am having to see my doctor about areas that are affecting my health & planning on going to another surgeon to get correction. Proceed with caution as it is mentally & emotionally destroying when your left with results that arnt quite satisfying.
This reply you have given me is purely for the publics benefit, because if you really cared about dealing with these issues this review would never have been written in the first place. I also notice that you only defend yourself against the negative feedback, no heartfelt thankyous to the positive ones, what does that tell you about who you really care about 🤔
Id also like to draw your attention to Rebbecas review concerning her blepharoplasty. Your reply is that you have never had anything similar reported at your hospital & that 'if any patient were to experience issues post surgery, you ensure they receive immediate attention & appropriate intervention. Your reply to my feedback over 6 months ago concerning my blepharoplsty, which i chose to write because you didnt follow up the aftercare, stated that you were sorry i wasnt happy & would like me to come back in, you also added that you were happy that i WAS pleased with the facelift.

I had a forehead reduction in December 2024. The time from initial messaging, video consultation up till the surgery day was smooth. All of my questions were answered. Surgery went fine and my scar is healing well, it is visible but I knew it would take up to a year. Post-surgery care has been amazing and I’m happy that I stayed local and went with the Leeds Private Hospital instead of going abroad as I had a fear of being far away from home. The entire team are friendly and helpful, I was not nervous on the day but excited to finally have it done. Thank you to the entire team especially Dr Arshad and Sommiya. I do recommend this hospital.

I recently underwent a surgical procedure at Leeds Private Hospital, and I cannot express enough how positive my experience was from start to finish.

From the moment I walked in, the staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. They made me feel at ease, which is so important when you’re facing a procedure. The level of care and attentiveness from everyone, from the reception to the nursing staff, was truly exceptional.

Dr Arshad was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. He took the time to explain every step of the procedure, addressing all my questions and concerns with patience and expertise. I felt so confident in his abilities, which made all the difference.

The premises are absolutely beautiful and create a calming environment. The attention to detail in the design and cleanliness is impressive, contributing to a sense of comfort during my stay.

The service throughout my experience was a solid 10/10. The little extra touches, such as personalised care and thoughtful amenities, really stood out and made the experience feel special. A huge thanks to Sommiya for the extra Friday night care, you have no idea how much that meant!

I highly recommend LPH for anyone considering a procedure. The combination of compassionate staff, skilled surgeons, and a lovely environment truly sets this hospital apart. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of me!

Beware. My experience is that I attended a good consultation where the process was clearly discussed and received a quotation. I decided to proceed with the upper and lower eye lid surgery. It was recommended that I have medication, not included in the original consult. I was asked to 'secure the date' by paying £500 which I did. At the post operative
appointment we again discussed what would happen in surgery and that the medication would cost extra. I then received another quotation that virtually doubled the cost of the surgery. I was so disappointed that procedure clearly discussed and was part of the process were suddenly chargeable extras. I pulled out at this point and asked for a refund. I was then told that the Terms and Conditions negated this request. I have never been given T&Cs despite asking for them. I have contacted LPH twice by e-mail and once by telephone and have been completed blanked. I recognise that that I have taken up 2 hours of time and suggested, in my e-mail, that £250 consultation type fee be paid my me and LPH send a refund of £250 as a reasonable compromise, this has not been responded to. Sommiya has previously been very good at customer service so is therefore ignoring me and a reasonable solution to my issue. I am not a natural complainer but feel strongly that companies are as good as their problem solving. With LPH I am obviously not even worthy of response. I feel duped and ripped off.

Very disappointed with my experience. I had an appointment booked for 3pm for a consultation. I got a message asking if i could come sooner 2pm the same day to be polite I agreed. I got a lift to the clinic which was a 40 minute drive each way. I also took a half day from work using my annual leave . I got to the clinic at the new suggested time and was left waiting for 55 minutes in the reception. Each time I required how long more would I be waiting as I had someone in the car park waiting for me .I was told they will be coming soon . They never did come so I left I told the girl on the 4 time i was leaving and I didnt get a call or message apologising it was a awful experience.I was willing to spend alot of money with this clinic and had many whatsapp face time conversations before this . For my time not to be considered was a insult i would expect this from the NHS not a private practice. Please take into consideration that people have to travel ,take time off work ,lose out on salary to come and see you please do better
