The Sherlock Holmes book nook kit came without instructions and the usual packaging. Granted I got it right out of the gate, but even now weeks later there is no step by step hard copy instructions. The video is nice, but it moves too fast. A video AND instructions would be perfect!
The other sets I've purchased were flawless

Thanks so much for your feedback and for picking up the Sherlock Holmes Book Nook kit early on, Charles—we really appreciate it!
We totally hear you about the video moving a bit fast, and we agree that having step-by-step written instructions alongside it would be super helpful. I’ve passed your suggestion along to our team for future improvements.
We’re also glad to hear your other kits have been flawless—thanks again for helping us improve! 😊
Thumbs up from a first timer.
I had bought your kits for my children and grandchildren but had not given one a try myself. I always liked Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and when Lego offered a kit I got it. Then seeing you offer the lighting effects I was hooked. Fairly easy for a newbie to plussing Lego kits. Can't wait to place it out for Halloween.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us, Terence! We're so glad to hear you finally gave one of our kits a go—and what a fantastic choice for your first build! The Nightmare Before Christmas is such a fun and iconic set, and we’re thrilled our lights helped bring it to life. We bet it’s going to look incredible this Halloween, and we’d absolutely love to see a photo once it’s all set up! 🎃✨
Amazing product
Amazing product! The lights make the set look so much better. They look realistic, provide ambience, and the cables are nearly invisible. Definitely recommend!

My new favorite light kit!
It took a while to get my order but I assume it is because the shire kit was so popular. 😄 the packaging was small and organized. Instructions were simple to follow. Love it. I have tried other light kits and this is my favorite.

Will not refund you your money.
While I can’t speak to their product their support team and refund process are atrocious. Their return guidelines are already stringent to begin with, can’t be opened, you pay shipping etc… what makes it far worse is once you’ve returned your item they will delay and withhold your refund. My item got back to them June 5th and now 22 days later I have still yet to receive my money. I was told days ago it had “been processed” but this was not the case. Unlikely to consider their products again.
Edit: This has been settled, after 28 days I received my refund.

This was my first experience building a Lego build and well as lighting it up. I am a 70+ woman whose son got me hooked on 'playing with legos'. Needless to say I have two more builds, Boutique Hotel and Jazz Club the I will probably be lighting them up as well. Instructions were easy to follow although I did have to retrace my steps a few times when it told me to power test and it did not work. But amazingly I finished it and it looks great as described by you! if I had one suggestion to make, don't make the black 'sticky' tabs that hold the wires together so hard to get off. Old fingers have a difficult time getting it apart, but I managed. Thanks again for producing such an awesome product for Legos.

Hi Judy,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience—it truly brightened our day! 😊 We’re thrilled to hear your first LEGO build and lighting project was a success, and even more so that it brought you joy.
How lovely that your son got you into building—what a fun and creative journey to share! The Boutique Hotel and Jazz Club are fantastic sets, and we’re excited for you to light those up too.
We also appreciate your thoughtful feedback about the sticky tabs and will definitely pass that along to our team.

I am a moc builder who is trying to grow and learn new building techniques. I wanted to add lights our moc ahead of Brickfair in Chantilly Va. Unfortunately, most of the products and videos available are adding light to a lego licensed product.
