Overall i thought things went well. I would be open to using them again in the future. I felt misled about the fact I was paying points. I don't think anyone was lying but I feel like this should have really been emphasized. There were some communication issues but nothing crazy

This was, without question, the most incompetent and unprofessional lending team I have ever dealt with. When I locked in my rate—at the lowest point it had been in nearly three years—I was assured the process would be seamless. While I understand that my loan structure involved higher 1099 income and required additional diligence, the experience that followed was nothing short of astonishing.

Instead of a competent underwriting process, the LoanDepot team appeared intent on implementing hurdle after hurdle, repeatedly requesting documentation that had already been provided and introducing new requirements late in the process. The pattern made it increasingly clear that the team had little interest in honoring the loan terms they originally locked and instead seemed content to delay the process to the point where closing became practically impossible.

What is most concerning is that Ashley Park holds a managerial role. Her lack of familiarity with the process, inability to provide clear guidance, and overall disregard for the customer experience were evident throughout the entire interaction. Leadership should bring clarity and confidence to a transaction of this magnitude; instead, it added confusion, inefficiency, and unnecessary frustration.

Disappointment is an understatement. Because I chose to proceed with LoanDepot, I missed a prime window to refinance at a historically favorable rate—an opportunity that, with any competent lender, would have been relatively straightforward to execute. It is also worth noting that this was a refinance, meaning we have already successfully completed the financing process before—without anything close to the level of dysfunction experienced here.

All in all - do not use this company. Any other lender would be much easier to work with and more honest about the process.

This experience was terrific from start to finish. Although we hit a snag 1/2 way thru, Romina & Diana were wonderful explaining the process and helping to find solutions for solving it. They were awesome to work with. I owe them a great big thank you!

This company, loanDepot, I bet is the fastest in getting you your equity funds. They are my first so I don't have any personal comparison, but it was quick. I heard and read it can take months to get to closing. I am beyond grateful to say that this was well under two months. I highly recommend!!

I should not have to send check to the creditors…. I paid to have everything processed and this it something that I fell like you fokks thing my time is not valuable
Also the cost to send the stuff out is crazy

Great communication from the Lending Officer. I was able to get a hold of Edwin Rivera with any question I had via email, text or phone call at just about any time of day. He was very quick to respond and if he didn't have the answer right away, he would let me know. Very happy with how quickly the whole process went from application to funding.

The Guerra team is quick, efficient, and very helpful.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do, and made it all easy for me.

Complete, prompt follow-up and cooperation with what we asked for. Very professional and informative staff, willing to help whenever we contacted them.
